Description: Union Contact Snowboard Bindings

A favorite of Union Pro Rider Scott Stevens, the Contact has minimal binding-to-board contact points for less interference with your board''s true and natural flex pattern. Sturdy asymmetrical highbacks combined with a mid-soft flexing Duraflex MD base, make the Contact an awesome choice for park laps and street features.

Minimal Contact Footprint allows for even board flex and is compatible with the 4x2 mounting pattern, as well as the Channel from Burton. With a mere 5% binding-to-board contact area, the Minidisk Base enhances natural board flex, boosting performance and overall durability.

Key Features of Union Contact Snowboard Bindings:
  • Duraflex MD Base: For more of a surfy feel, the Contact MD Base comes Duraflex injected and is the softest out of the MD Base family. Ideal for lighter riders and/or people looking for that playful "loose trucks" feeling
  • Multi-Density Thermoformed EVA Bushings: Multi-Density Thermoformed Bushings sustain function season after season - unlike competitors who use urethane, rubber or other materials that change color and become brittle over time
  • Extruded 3D Aluminum Heepcups: The rigidity and strength of Extruded Aluminum acts like a roll cage on a race car - stiffening the entire chassis. The male/female connection with the base provides seamless boot interface
  • Asym S2 Highbacks: A team favorite, the ASYM S2 Highback is perfect for all around freestyle and urban snowboarding. This indestructible design is slightly tweaked towards the outside for seamless boot interface
  • 3D Asymmetrical Ankle Straps: Pre-curved 3D Multi-Layer Strap Core Evenly distributes pressure, keeping you locked in and on point
  • Aluminum Ratchets: Fast in and fast out - this new mechanism combined with union aluminum is superior to any binding ratchet on the market - with the exception of Union magnesium

Matt's Review
I got the Scott Stevens model, its a cool design and it had great comfort and stability. Its good for just doing runs on the hill and for for park laps. I went snowboarding on Saturday and they worked great. they did no break or anything like that. They are easy to adjust and easy to use. I like Union a lot for their comfort and stability. I recommend Union a lot.

I wear size 10 boots, do you recommend size medium or large with the contact bindings?
A shopper on Sep 12, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Hi,
If your feet are not growing get the 'M ( 7-10)' size. They will give you optimal performance and fit on your board better.
Does it come with a union bindings sticker?
Tangy _ on Nov 24, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Hi,
Yep it does.
I’ve never tried Union but have heard of the company, are they any good?
Mike B on Oct 24, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Yes! Tbh theyre better than Burton. The bindings give great response from the board, and the multi-area flexing highback allows for some fun whilst riding too. The ankle and toe straps on these are very durable and made to last. So you’ll get quality of binding and great style.
Does it come with the white or green straps?

BEST ANSWER: Green straps only.
Does it come with the white or green straps? Because the pictures show both
Ronny on Nov 8, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Just green straps.
Hi, I was just curious if there is any way of you guys knowing what shade of red these are in the red option? Like a fire engine red or candy apple? Trying to find a match up with a board. Thanks o/
bobo g on Sep 26, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Hi Ryan,
To me the red looks like a true primary red, though matched with White graphics it seems even brighter... closer to a fire engine.
