A patch in time saves mine
While hiking the AT last year and sleeping on my Neo trekker lite for 1300 miles I became careless and put two holes in it. The glue dots in the patch kit stopped the leaks on the first try. The patches are holding up to more abuse this year and I am blown away by the long lasting results!

They work but...
I've used the product several times (neoair xlite mattress with the corus quilt) and they really work for those colder nights when you want the quilt nice and snug.

My one criticism...no instructions! The PDF is actually for the snap kit which is different to the loop kit. You should be able to figure it out but some pointers below and an image:

- Look at the video for the corus hd quilt (about half way through there's a quick frame where you can see them in place)
- Follow the snap kit instructions as to how to go about lining the stick on pads with the loops on the quilt but DO NOT place the sticky loop attachments on the seams of the mattress as directed in the PDF they go on the bottom of the mattress (look at the corus hd video)
- Once stuck in place deflate the mattress and press them down firmly. They sit length ways along the
curved ridges of the mattress so if you don't deflate it the edges of the stick on bits lift up.

Hope that helps

I have yet to use the repair kit on my pad, but when I found a hole in my hammocks rain fly - this little gem saved the day.

Worked great
I had a VERY small hole in my new NeoAir Pad, which was difficult to find. The pad was deflating over a 1-1/2 hour period. In the morning, I poured water from my cup over the pad until I found a very small stream of bubbles exiting; it took about 15 minutes. Once the hole was found, I dried it as best I could, cleaned it with the included alcohol, and let it dry again. The dot is very sticky and a little tricky to apply, but it went on fine. The cover piece followed and I was good to go.

My only concern is regarding the durability of the pad. In over thirty years, I have only once had a hole in a sleeping pad, and I got a hole in my new NeoAir on its second night out...

I would buy this product again.
Carried this repair kit on a recent two month trek in Nepal. Didn't have to use it this time around but it is so lightweight, and a flat pad so nasty, why not toss it in the bag. Have indeed used this product in the past and it is simple and quick to apply. Seems to work quite well too.

Great, durable patches
I've had to use these in the past and ordered more because they are very durable and easy to use. Good for more than just pads!

Packable Safety Kit!
Never leave home without it. . . but with Therm-a-Rest, I doubt if I will ever have to use it. My T-a-R is 8 years old and isn't even close to needing repairs. . . great to have Just In Case!

Would not go through this frustration again
After hours of trying I ended up throwing what was remaining of this kit in the garbage. The pad needing the repair has been fantastic for many years

Better to have it and not need it...
...than to need it and not have it!

Have never actually needed the kit, but always carry one for each pad.

Fact that kit is available is a good thing.

Not needing it is a GREAT thing!
