Great boots!
This was my first pair of ski boots and I love them! My feet are on the wider side but they're still very comfortable. I am an intermediate/advanced skier and these boots performed well.

My husband rented a pair of Technica ten.2 80 RT size 29.0 ski boots and would now like to have a pair of his own. In researching I can not find these boots with the RT. Was this an older version? What does the RT mean? What is the difference between the RT version and the non RT version I now see available? Thanks!

BEST ANSWER: Hey Cheralyn!

The Tecnica Ten.2 80 Ski Boots are great intermediate boots. Comfy and technical.

The RT means that it is part of K2s rental fleet. The difference is that these puppies are brand spankin' new and read to shred. The Rental boots have seen lots of stinky feet.

Have fun out there and enjoy the turns!
I have a high instep - does this HVL mean that it will help with that or is that simply for width?
theresa s on Nov 30, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Hey Theresa.

The HVL means high volume. This is to fit wider feet more comfortably. As well, these are Men's boots. If you have a high instep I recommend taking your boots to your local shop to be worked on by a certified professional boot fitter. Get some custom foot beds made. They are a game changer! More comfort and better performance!

Is this boot work well for wide flat feet?
Scott S on Nov 8, 2014
BEST ANSWER: The Tecnica Ten.2 80 Ski Boots with a 102 last width are designed with normal widths in mind.Or experts than want a tighter fit. Truly wide feet tend to be happier in a 104-106 last width. You are certainly welcome to try them, as we have a very friendly return policy. Thanks.
