Sweet Jacket
I bought this as a general rain jacket and fishing/wading jacket. It could be used as a ski/snowboard jacket but probably isn't it's intended purpose. It doesn't have a powder skirt and isn't really helmet compatible. Plus, it's a little short for ski/boarding. The image of the black jacket is wrong. The black jacket is more of a charcoal or dark gray and has the style of the green and blue jackets. It doesn't have the thumb holes as picture in the black one. The hood can't be put up if the jacket is zipped up all the way, which I like because the wind won't blow it up and the smaller opening keeps more wind blown rain out. It has a nice felt like chin guard material. It's lined with a bonded material that is soft and fairly warm to the touch. It has two interior pockets one with a zip. Interior hem cinches for hood and bottom(in front pockets). The center zipper isn't waterproof but it has a storm flap which should be sufficient. It has armpit zips that open wide open i.e. no mesh inner material that act as a stopper. I'm not sure if I like that yet. Overall it seems like a bombproof rain jacket. I've used it a medium rain for a couple hours and I worked good. It should hold up to an all day rain.

I use this shell for skiing, the reason why I don't like it is the hood that can't be removed, so not to confortable with a helmet... Other tant that, this is a good shell.. Stay dry
