    Great Jacket
I bought this jacket when it was 70% off and have worn it through white out conditions and it kept me warm and dry. I have also used the jacket as a rain coat and it keeps me dry.

Great for skiing and everyday winter weather
When layered up this jacket is very warm, and it also keeps me from getting hot when I go into buildings. The jacket is loose and easy to move around in, but has a nice tight under layer around the wrists and waste that keep snow and wind from getting inside. I have gotten many compliments on the style too!

Overall this jacket has a great price for its quality!

going on 6 years with my jacket.
I bought this jacket 6 years ago, I used not only as a ski jacket but as a winter jacket. I have probably worn it on 200-300 occasions. No tears and none of the fabric has worn out. I plan on using the jacket for another coupe of years.

jacket is comfy, requires a sweatshirt underneath to be warm enough for North east riding. vents work well, plenty of pockets, hood works well and when it is up and the jacket is zipped up all the way it covers up to your chin which is nice. removable gaitor, removable hood.

The waterproofing has started to wear out over the past two years or so, so I am going to try to re-waterproof it.

great quality, great defect warranty, cool pattern, well worth the money I paid for it.

I bought this jacket in black at the beginning of the season and I've been really happy with it. The jacket looks pretty standard and I've used it as street wear on really cold/wet days. It's a standard fit for a snowboard jacket (a little baggy) so I recommend buying it in your normal size if you like your jacket baggy or downsizing one if you're into the whole slim look. It's just a really thin shell but it does a decent job at keeping you warm. I rode through a blizzard wearing just a dry fit t-shirt, fleece jacket, and this jacket without getting too cold (another layer would've been nice though). The best part about this jacket is its 25k waterproofing. I've never gotten wet this season. Unlike some other jackets, all your junk in your pockets will stay perfectly dry as well. I got it for 106USD in December (there was probably a sale or something) and I'm really happy with my purchase. I'll probably be able to use this jacket for a long time. I only wish I chose black fader flage instead of just plain black because black is a little dull. They are probably running out of stock so I'd def. buy it if I were you

This looks like actual camouflage at a distance, so didnt really fit my taste, but quite warm compared to other jackets (ahem Burton

    Great Waterproof Jacket
I've used this jacket about 2 times, and it's awesome. It fits me just right, got plenty of pockets on the front and inside. AT 25k waterproof, it's pretty much a gore-tex jacket. So I don't feel any water/snow penetration(rode it while dumping snow one day). It breathes well, as my sweat gets aired out fast. The only thing I'm missing is the goggle pocket that I'm used to and the hand liner covering that I'm used to from my Sessions and 686 jacket. If this jacket had them, it would be perfect. Overall though, I loved how this jacket just works. Nice technical features and good styling

    cold but ultra water prroof
This is a PURE shell. no insulation so you need a lot of layers on cold days, I could only imgaine that you would wear this allown on a spring day. other then that GREAT quality

"Waterproof, waterproof, oh did I say waterproof"
Obviously it's a shell, so your not limited to what part of the season you can take advantage of 25k waterproofing. Layer up on cold days, and just rock baselayer on spring days and still stay dry. It's Special Blends upper tier of jacket so it does have quality fabrics throughout, not to mention an awesome purple inside liner. You can take off the powder skirt when your wanting to relax without it

how warm is this jacket - the autograph, vs the signature, which is not insulated.. is it like wearing a hoodie?
    jessek on Jan 12, 2014
BEST ANSWER: I'm not familiar with the SB Signature, so can't help in comparing the two jackets. The Autograph is a great jacket though! Sick print, super comfortable fit (little on the baggy side, which should be expected with most SB outerwear), and loaded with Tech features. The waterproofing is top notch. I've seen other brands sell their top of the line jackets, with comparable waterproof tech, for hundreds more than the Autograph is priced at. You will stay dry in any condition. As far as warmth, this is NOT a very warm jacket. I personally found this to be a plus though, and the jacket is just what I hoped it would be. I typically run hot when charging around the mountain. Layered up with a long sleeve or hoodie underneath should be warm enough for most people on an average day on the slopes. Look at this jacket as more of a technical outer layer. Love this jacket and been riding with it practically every time out. On those coldest of days though, you'll hopefully have a down jacket in the quiver to use!
is this an insulated jacket? the description says 80g of insulation, but some of the reviews say its just a shell
