My anti injury shoe
I have put more miles than ever in these shoes. Great for 50 mile + races. No injuries this year in them. 2400 miles 6 pairs.

These shoes can take a beating.
I just came off of the Sierra High Route -- a 200-mile north-south, off-trail traverse of the Sierra Nevada in California -- and brought a pair of Sense Ride shoes with me. They definitely weren't built with the SHR in mind but they definitely held their own. I wanted a pair of trail runners because the SHR isn't just hiking but sometimes calls for more technical Class 3 climbing. (And some Class 4 if you're an idiot like me and accidentally take the more difficult route. The Sense Rides gripped really well on any surface -- wet or dry. I could let them get wet with no worries because they would dry out as I hiked, usually in just an hour or two. Like I said, there's no trail for much of the SHR but I always felt stable in my shoes, even when taking awkward, large steps. I can't speak highly enough about these shoes.

The one "downside" -- if you can call it that -- was that the shoes were utterly trashed by the time I got off of the High Route. Again, the shoes weren't built to stand up to the SHR so I don't fault Salomon for this at all. But, if you plan to do something similar, don't expect to use these shoes again.

These shoes are an 11/10. In my opinion, the perfect trail runner.

All trail perfect pitch
If there were ‘one shoe to rule them all’ to misappropriate Tolkien, this is it. A perfect balance of comfort, response, proprioception and a dialled-in S-Lab fit. More durable than SLab race shoes and genuinely fit for all fair weather trails in impressive comfort. Has been my go to Summer shoes for ultra and daily training. I have 3 pairs... !

Having had 3 pairs of the Sense Ride already I can honestly say this is one of the best, if not the best, all-around trail running shoes in the market. Super comfortable, great traction, and an amazing fit that holds your foot in place while providing a healthy balance in cushioning and support.

Great fit, cushioned trail shoe
Surprisingly cushioned for a trail shoe, full foot support through the elasticated laces. Great on dry surfaces, yet to try in deep mud!

Great show though rubs on on the inner foot
Great show, though rubs on the inner side of the foot and needs more padding on the toe. Otherwise light shoe and good tread.
