I wear a women's size 8.5. My son bought me size 25.5. I worried that I need the next size larger? What are some pointers?
A shopper on Dec 26, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Good morning. Size 25.5 is definitely not too small if anything it could be large.
To check if the boot is the correct size pull the liner out of the shell. Place your foot in the shell with your toes lightly touching the front of the shell. Check to see how much room you have between your heel and the back of the shell. if there is 5/8ths to 3/4's of an inch the shell is the correct size for you. A woman with a size 8.5 shoe size would actually usually fit in a 24.5 size boot.
do not worry about the feel of the liner, especially if you have not buckled the boot, the liner will mold and shape to your foot. the true indicator of correct size is the fit of the shell. if you still have questions please let us know.
What does the term Last mean?
A shopper on May 3, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Last is the internal shape of the boot shell. It literally is the shape of a foot. In a boot mold there is a foot shaped piece of metal and the plastic in injected around that and then when the plastic cools the shell is removed from the mold.

Boot lasts vary in width by category. Race boots are 92mm at the widest point of the foot. Expert boots are in the 97-98mm range. High performance and recreational boots come in 100mm, 102mm and 104mm lasts in order to fit the variety of skier foot shapes.
I'm not new to skiing, but only go once a year for traveling and pleasure purposes. Do I need a more advanced boot than this? Or are these go for the intermediate skier? I ski for enjoyment: Green, blues and an occasional black without moguls. What would you recommend?
A shopper on Jan 7, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I've got 2 knee replacements & 47 years skiing. I still enjoy blacks, & a few moguls. I note that boots have improved greatly & just got some basic intermediate quality from Atomic.(livefit70) List 220 on sale for less...very pleased trading in my Technica advanced Intermediate Ti boots of 15 years. They worked the Co. Continental Divide slopes perfectly for Prez. Weekend
If I have a pair of K2 skis would these boots still work even though they are not the same brand?
Emily on Dec 29, 2014
BEST ANSWER: good afternoon, yes, the Kelia will fit in any alpine binding system and it will ski on any brand of ski in its' performance category.
Are these on the black Friday special??
A shopper on Nov 28, 2014
BEST ANSWER: No they are not. As they are a 2015 we are not allowed to discount them at this time.
