Here at the house, talking about the Ride LX binding. In the eight years I've worked here, definitely one of our best selling bindings. Super reliable. Ride, a little bit different than a lot of the rest of the industry. It's got an aluminum base plate to it. Very rigid. Very responsive. Very durable. Ride hardly has any of these things come back on warranty.
From there, they've got a really nice, smoothly operating ratchet. Metal throw arm so it won't break under cold conditions. The straps they use are really, really nice. The toe-strap can be rocked over the front toe-cap strap or over the top, traditional style. The ankle strap is molded very, very nicely to pick up the contours of the boot.
The high back is cored out to reduce weight. It has a quick adjust on the forward lean. And the new heel cup is aluminum and can adjust in and out to accommodate a wider range of boots. On the ankle strap, you do have the toolless length adjustment. And on the base plate they do put a generous amount of padding on it. It's definitely nice, when you have a metal base plate to have a lot of padding on it to take up any kind of chatter or anything like that. You'll see this thing at a great price on our site. I highly recommend it. It's a great binding to go with.
