Nice looking bike, larger 24 inch wheels make it more stable at higher speeds. Incredibly light weight for price point

Would this bike be good for a 6' tall 190 lbs rider? I am looking at mainly riding pump tracks and some skate park type riding, I truly doubt I will race but I don't want a 26" wheel incase I decide to go that route, I am not particularly looking for a dirt jumping bike, but will it withstand mild bmx race style jumps etc? Thanks
    A shopper on Oct 15, 2013
I'd say go for it. I'm 6'1" and 200lbs, and this bike fits great. Top-tube length is always challenging for us taller guys, but this one feels about right.

Stock gearing would likely be perfect for parks/pumptracks, but as always, gearing is a personal preference.

I'm very happy with this bike. It feels pretty bomber, and will definitely be fine for jumping reasonable hits. The only parts I've upgraded are the pedals, front chainring, and chain.... because beast. I think over time, the wheels might be next, but out of the box the bike feels great; fighter jet!!!

    Hopet his helps!
I don't know if my question got lost when I tried to log in so I will ask it again.
I am looking or a BMX style bike. I am 6' 190 lbs.
I am primarily going to use it for pump track and trail, if I decide to race, will it hold up to bmx jumps?
    Dale F on Oct 15, 2013
BEST ANSWER: Well Dale, I am 6'3" 180 and only been riding it about a week but its perfect for us tall guys! It has verey strong rims. If you want to race, pumptrack its perfect. Dirt jumping it will eventually crack the frame since its aluminum and constantly landing hard and wrecking is not to good for aluminum frames. Other than that its a great town/city bike light tricks and smooth jumps no problem.
I want if the wheels on the so cal are as strong as the floval. I usually end up with Bent wheels.;???
    A shopper on Aug 30, 2013
BEST ANSWER: The so cal has the Alex rims which are not nearly as strong as the alienation double walls on the Floval. The Floval in general is a stronger bike built for hard racing, while the so cal is more of a cruiser with less expensive components. Kind of depends what type of riding you'll be doing. That being said, I've had a few SE bikes and been very pleased with durability.
Interested in ordering the Floval Flyer (white). Will you be carrying this bike in stock? Thanks.
    Michelle W on Jun 6, 2016
    BEST ANSWER: Hi Michelle,
I apologize no. The White version here is an older model, and we have sold the last. We do have the 2016 version of the SE Floval Flyer however:
I'm looking for a cruiser to knock around on (not really hitting jumps, more riding around town with kids).
I'm 5'8, 190 lbs, would a 24in be comfortable to sit and ride on or should I go 26 in?
I know the easy answer is to go to a shop and sit on each, but cant find a local shop that carries SE (or any cruisers)...
    Josh j on Mar 28, 2014
BEST ANSWER: I would go with a 26" bike for sure. A 24" bike might be a little too small
This SE Floval Flyer BMX Bike white 24in pictured on your site makes me think this is a 2012 model. Are you selling this 2012 model in year 2014 or is it really a 2014 model?
    A shopper on Jan 16, 2014
BEST ANSWER: This is the 2012 model, no where does it say it is a 2014 model. We have the 2012, 2013, and 2014 models for sell though.
I'm 5'-11" 165 pounds and looking to ride this bike at a local dirt jump track. I'm also 41 and don't want to buy three more of these frames because they keep cracking. I want to buy it once and keep it for the next 35 years. Will this bike hold up to dirt jumps?
    A shopper on Sep 14, 2013
BEST ANSWER: No you need to set away from HiTen steel frames as with the SE Floval Flyer BMX Bike and move to bikes with a chromoly frame. One suggestion would be the GT Ruckus at
