Description: RaceFace Chester Composite Bike Pedals

A new addition to the Race Face flat pedal line up: the Chester Pedal. This tough and burly nylon composite body provides a large platform with the same grip as traditional alloy pedals via the bottom loading 8 hex traction pins per side. Thin and lightweight is the name of the game with Chester, featuring a cro-mo axle that is fully sealed and a 100% serviceable bearing and bushing system. This pedal offers great performance for a wide range of riders at a price that leaves plenty of cash in pocket to spring for that round of bevies at your local watering hole after hammering out a day of hot laps with the crew.

Good pedal
Got this pedal for the Minnesota fat bike. Works best with a flat bottom shoe like a skateboarders shoe, running or training shoes don't grip as well. The colors are awesome. Good pedal for the money.

very satisfied
I bought the pedals for my minnesota 3.0 fatbike. They are light and after 300 miles, I am very happy with them. The pins are sharp, so to protect my shins, I backed them out 2 turns until my shoes polished the ends, then screwed them back down. They hold my new balances very well with no foot slippage. As an engineer, I appreciate the design of an axle running the full width of the pedal. The pedal spins more freely than similar priced pedals at my LBS.
