Great bike for the price. Very professionally built and with the rider in mind.
Bought this for my son who is a tall guy and weighing about 180lbs. He was concerned about the height and size at 1st but loves it. It's not a BMX full size bike so you need to keep that in mind. It's more for doing tricks at the parks or cruising. I must say though that this is a great bike for the price. Very professionally built and with the rider in mind. My impression at 1st was, "Where was this bike when I used to do freestyle as a lad?!". I would also have to say that I was very impressed with the strength of the entire build of the bike even the handgrips were the nice softer rubber slit grips and not the harder cheap kind. The chain linkage is pulled away from your pant legs so you don't get them caught up while doing tricks. I know my son loves this bike and I think it was worth every penny!!!

good quality and value
My 8-year old grandson is happy with it. His dad had a little trouble finishing the assembly. It is very odd that the angle of the seat does not adjust, and is raked severely back. Maybe that's how BMX bikes are meant to be.

Forks shipped uneven
It’s a decent bike. Had to replace the bottom bracket and cranks within 3 weeks. The forks were uneven and had to bend them into place so the bike would stay balanced while riding. Still waiting on the raplacement parts so I can see if the forks are even. Other than that it looks nice and doesn’t weigh a lot so it’s very comfortable. I’m sure once I get the parts I’ll be able to put it through a lot without any issue

I love everything about this bike. For a little more money, you get a way better bike overall than like a mongoose from Walmart. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS BIKE.

Is this lightweight?
A shopper on Oct 8, 2015
BEST ANSWER: best website there is thumbs up
is this more of a kid bike or for young/teen adults?
A shopper on Oct 10, 2015
The Verdict IS a standard 20" BMX bike, but has more basic components. Because of this, it is geared to a younger teen audience. For the most part, a full grown adult will want a BMX bike with a Chromoly frame.
Can you put pegs on this bike?
drake on Nov 12, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Absolutely!
Will this bike be good for park riding??
A shopper on Jan 6, 2016
The Framed Verdict is a great entry level BMX bike, but will not be the best Park ride. For aggressive riding and true park riding you will want to look to a bike that has a Chromoly frame. This: or this: will be a more solid park option.
Can you put pegs on this bike?
A shopper on Nov 12, 2015
You can.
Is this bike good for bunny hops?
A shopper on Jan 31, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I bought this bike for my 13yr old this past Christmas. He is a beginner with BMX bikes and was able to learn how and successfully do bunny hops on this bike, so I would assume so
What size is the chain?
A shopper on Feb 14, 2016

1/8 with 112 links
Is this bike okay for a 5'11 ft kid that's about 145 pounds?
A shopper on Jun 6, 2016
BEST ANSWER: My son's 5'9 and is about 180lbs. He loves it. It looks a little smaller on him when he does sit down on the seat, as the seat is low and laid back however, seein as it's a trick bike though, he rarely sits down anyways. And when he's just cruising around locally, he just rides it in the standing position.
The sprocket, where the chain is at the pedals, is also recessed so when he does ride standing up, his jeans or laces don't get caught up in the chain at all. So, for my son,it's an absolutely great bike for him. I've asked him a couple dozen times if it was too small and he told me every time that it's the perfect size because it's a trick bike. And by the way, the thing weighs nothing too! He's also had a few spills on it, seein as it's a trick bike it's gonna happen but, the bike held up great and allot of times you don't even need to adjust a thing on it! It holds together great!

Hope this helps!

Is this bike good for bunny hops, wheelies, and manualing?
Chris C on Jan 25, 2016
BEST ANSWER: yes its perfect for all of that its really light and very controlable i think it would be a great bike for that
Is this bike good for a 15 yr old?
A shopper on Nov 26, 2015
It totally depends on what you intend to do with it. This Verdict is a fairly simple bike that will be great for cruising around on and learning some street freestyle. It will not be a great park or racing bike. The Verdict size wise will work for most 15 year olds just fine.
Is this bike good for poping Wheelies?
Sam nasty on Oct 22, 2015
The Verdict would work just fine for that.
Is the bike light?
A shopper on Jul 12, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Yes it's light , Mine arrived with a hole in the tube took the house over a week to send a new one! Customer service is lacking
I am a beginner would it work fine for me? Only 10 under 5 feet tall. Also under 100 pounds.
A shopper on Apr 25, 2016
BEST ANSWER: NO. You should look for a bike that is smaller with probably 18" wheels. Don't get a bike that is too big for you because you will have a much harder time learning any tricks. Please look at a bmx size chart.
Is this bmx good for a 12 year old thats lower than 5 feet tall?
A shopper on Jan 23, 2016
BEST ANSWER: yes should fit him fine wouldn't suggest anything smaller he'll probably grow but even if he doesn't still a good choice
Is it a turning handlebar? like 360 full around?
Bmxislife1 on Dec 21, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Technically the Framed Verdict BMX Bike does have turning 360 degree handle bars, but it's not suggested.
Is the handle bar sturdy?
A shopper on Dec 16, 2016
BEST ANSWER: The handlebars are very sturdy as is the neck. The neck doesn't slip one bit. On top of that, the grips are great! They're not the cheap hard rubber grips but, rather the softer slit rubbery type that grip really well in your hands.
The most that has happened now on this bike is, from hopping onto curbs and what not, the under carriage of the crank housing where the pedal shafts is has gotten worn down and chipped up to the bare metal. But, that's been from the rider, my son, doing stunts and even after several falls with the bike...... not a bend or any damage at all elsewhere!
Great bike all in all!
I am about 5 foot 5 and over 100 pounds so would this bike work for me and im a beginner bmx rider?
jaggerswagger j on Jul 27, 2016
The Verdict would work great for you.
Is this good for jumps?
A shopper on Mar 10, 2016
BEST ANSWER: If you're going for big time air, I would suggest upgrading to a bike that will hold up to a bigger beating (like one with a chromoly frame). This bike will be good for all of your basic park tricks, etc.
I'm 23 getting back into freestyle bmxing I'm 6'3 1/2 tall now and around 185 lbs. I'm on a tight budget of 150 maybe a little more would this be a good bike to buy to get back into the flow of things?
Ht3Forever on Jan 20, 2016
BEST ANSWER: excellent bike for that. a hundred dollars or so in upgrades for cranks and bottom bracket which you don't have to do right away. and you have yourself a solid bike. These are not Walmart bikes there bike store bikes very upgradable
is the seat adjustable?
Game_Slayer_02 G on Sep 29, 2016
Everyone is right. The seat height is adjustable, but not the angle.
Is the bike good for adults?
A shopper on Sep 12, 2016
A standard 20" BMX bike can be ridden by someone up to like 5'10". Know that a BMX bike does fit in any way like a standard bike. Also, the Verdict BMX bike is a basic entry level ride designed to cruise around on. Most adults will be close to its weight limit. You might need a BMX bike with a Chromoly frame and the next level of components.
I am 22 and into bmx. Will this bike work for me? I am 310 lbs. and 6"1
Ed I on Jan 3, 2016
BEST ANSWER: You're going to want to look at bikes that have components like chromoly frames. This will mean that they will be increased in price, but they will be able to support you better than this bike. It's usually worth it to invest a little more to get the best quality you can.
Would this bike be good for street?
Brian T on Dec 23, 2017
The Verdict will work great for basic street freestyle.
Im 6 foot 230 pounds, is this bike good for me?
Jazz N on Dec 11, 2016
BEST ANSWER: That's a pretty small bike for you. Check out the Framed Twenty9er...
Does this have metal or plastic brake handles? I've seen many bmx bikes that now have plastic handles that break!
reedmiarecki on Dec 4, 2016
The Verdict uses metal brake levers.
Is the bike light for little kids?
A shopper on Jul 2, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Probably not. It depends on how tall they are. Look at a bmx size chart. Most "little" kids should be on an 18" bmx or lower. Remember that 20" Wheels are what adults ride when it comes to BMX. It's not like a mountain bike.
Will this bike be good for a ten year old?
A shopper on May 28, 2016
Thanks for the answers everyone. If the 10 year old is close to 5ft or taller he or she could ride it just fine. Any shorter and you might want to look at an 18" BMX bike.
Can you ride the bike backwards without the pedals moving?
Vader on May 21, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Sorry for the delay but yes, you absolutely can. And it is a more silent quicker clicking noise then a generic bike you would just buy off of a rack or at any store.
My son is almost 6ft and 189llbs. and flfys, cruises, and tricks out on this bike and loves it! I even bought him a light kit for the front and back so he can stay out after dark and ride home on it. Now, if I could only get him to wear his House helmet!!!

Is this a good bike for a moderate skill level and 13 years old?
A shopper on May 1, 2016
BEST ANSWER: This bike is SUPER light! It also has a more race car type tire(s) tread on it. So, its not an off road type bike but rather a local riding, street, cement/trick style bike. This bike is also a low seat style bike as it makes for the rider to sit much lower and your hands higher up while in the seated position. But, this is intentional by design and that the style of the bike is meant for riding/coasting while standing up as well as for doing tricks or freestyle riding. My son is 13, is close to 6ft. tall, and weighs close to 180lbs, loves the bike, and after the brake pads wear down a bit it has plenty of stopping power too! And he's a big guy who likes to go fast!
Hope this helps answer your questions. If not, ask more and I'll try to answer ASAP for/to yah!

What I read was good and does this bike have plastic or metal petals ?
A shopper on Apr 8, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Good Answers... Thanks.
The Framed Verdict BMX Bike does come with plastic pedals.
