Solid Bike!
A gorgeous carbon-fiber frame, respectable specs and components, and a fair price tag make the Framed Marquette bike a solid choice for riders looking to dabble in the world of plus-size mountain bikes. The hardtail, plus-size 27.5 mountain bike is the best value we’ve seen in its category, which is no surprise to us. The Framed Marquette’s biggest asset is its great-looking frame, with sweeping seat-stays and a massive bottom-bracket. The bottom line is that although we don’t love hard-tail plus-bikes, at $1,700 this one is the best value we’ve seen. Ride it about anywhere and this bike will abide.

Framed 27.5 plus
Getting back into the sport. Looked long and hard for a well priced and well equipped hard tail. Came across Framed bicycles and pulled the trigger. No regrets. Love this ride!!! Highly recommend framed bikes. Put nearly 100 miles in 2 weeks and I have raced and ridden many bikes. This is my new favorite.

Tough and fun bike
Like driving my Jeep to the kite launch on the beach in South Padre or snowy lake in MN, this bike plowed through everything I put in front of it- gravel, packed sand, deep sand, grass, big rocks, log piles, sticks, roots, mud, water. Handlebar width was comfortable and I was able to maneuver through the trees on the single track without trouble. My feet stayed on the pedals when I needed them to. I found easy acceleration on flats – street, gravel, and dirt. The 27+ sized tires offered extra flotation through the deep sand and rough terrain and a ton of traction. The Framed Marquette Carbon 27.5+ is a lightweight, agile trail bike offering stability, comfort, and confidence. The ride is smooth, nimble, and fun.

Can I get this with a smaller tire width, 2.2 or 2.4?
A shopper on Aug 1, 2018
As of right now, we don't offer the Marquette with a smaller tire. It is possible that we could do a custom build wheelset for you, but you'd have to give our Framed rep a call at 1-800-992-7245 and ask for Framed bikes.
Will the frame accommodate a front derailleur if I want to switch to 2x or 3x chainrings?
Bryan S on Jul 30, 2019
BEST ANSWER: The Framed Marquette Carbon frame will be able to accommodate a front derailleur however most people stick with the 1x drivetrain, as they are more reliable and with the 1x11 and 1x12 cassettes you get the top to bottom ratio you need without having to have multiple gears up front. This means less maintenance, less weight, and no more derailing.
If it doesn't come with smaller tires (2.4,2.5) does the rim accommodate them or is the rim 3" specific?
A shopper on Aug 1, 2018
The Alexrims MD50s that come on this bike will fit a 2.8-3in tire. You could totally run a smaller wheelset if you wanted to as the Marquette carbon will fit a 26er wheelset to a 29er wheelset as long as the width is under 3in.
Will these frames accommodate a wider tire such as a 4.0?
Pete C on May 31, 2016
The 3" tire is about the max width for these Marquette bikes. For a 4" tire you will want to move into the traditional Fatbike category of bikes:
