Awesome Bike on a Budget
I was blown away when I saw this bike for the price. I've only had the bike about a week but the carbon frame performs very well and is incredibly compliant. The geometry is solid too. Comfortable both going up hill and down. The singletrack here is flowy hard packed soil with roots and rocks. I found the larger volume tires rolled over things with ease compared to my 29er hardtail. The componentry is solid and I expect it will hold up long term. Nice tires. Wheels are a little heavy, but getting a carbon frame for this price I expected they'd sacrifice somewhere, but the wheels are good. The phone sales person told me they build them by hand in St. Paul, MN! I could nit pick, but I won't. Overall great bike.

Excellent Bike
This thing is perfect for the XC trails in my area. The value for the parts spec can't be beat. You gotta go tubeless though. It felt a bit sluggish at first with the tubes (which weigh almost a pound each) and heavy wheels. After one ride like that I found that I was able to seat the Framed Minnesota tires tubeless no problem. It feels great tubeless at 12psi rear and 10psi front. I've got nearly 1,000 miles on my Carbon Marquette so far and I'm still in love. Thanks, Framed!

Tough and fun bike
Like driving my Jeep to the kite launch on the beach in South Padre or snowy lake in MN, this bike plowed through everything I put in front of it- gravel, packed sand, deep sand, grass, big rocks, log piles, sticks, roots, mud, water. Handlebar width was comfortable and I was able to maneuver through the trees on the single track without trouble. My feet stayed on the pedals when I needed them to. I found easy acceleration on flats – street, gravel, and dirt. The 27+ sized tires offered extra flotation through the deep sand and rough terrain and a ton of traction. The Framed Marquette Carbon 27.5+ is a lightweight, agile trail bike offering stability, comfort, and confidence. The ride is smooth, nimble, and fun.

Solid Bike!
A gorgeous carbon-fiber frame, respectable specs and components, and a fair price tag make the Framed Marquette bike a solid choice for riders looking to dabble in the world of plus-size mountain bikes. The hardtail, plus-size 27.5 mountain bike is the best value we’ve seen in its category, which is no surprise to us. The Framed Marquette’s biggest asset is its great-looking frame, with sweeping seat-stays and a massive bottom-bracket. The bottom line is that although we don’t love hard-tail plus-bikes, at $1,700 this one is the best value we’ve seen. Ride it about anywhere and this bike will abide.

What is the weight of the Marquette 27.5 GX Rockshock REBA?
Gary B on May 1, 2016
I just had our bike shop weigh one, and with the GX components and the 18" size......... it is 29lbs and 1 oz. I love this bike btw, it is a solid option.
Why does the Carbon Marquette come with a 100mm Reba when the Alloy version comes with a 120mm Reba and the Carbon with the RST fork is also 120mm?
Michael P on Aug 5, 2016
BEST ANSWER: The Rock Shox Reba can be converted by a suspension specialist to run at a 100, 110 or even a 120mm shock. The RST can not. The 100mm Reba offered the best value and versatility for that model according to Framed.
Does the Marquette Carbon take an internally routed dropper post? And can it be ordered with one?
Are the tires tubeless?
andy s on Jul 1, 2016
BEST ANSWER: This frame will absolutely accept an internal dropper seat post with ease.

You can use the unused front derailleur port but you'll have to ask (beg) the shop for a spare cable routing plug as the Marquette comes with a closed port by default. if they wont give you one, it would be possible to drill out the cable port plug if you have a vice, drill, and about 3 minutes to spare. if that doesnt suit you, searching online should turn up a result.
