This is what you find ..after You decide...then look a little harder. Because
I had decided on a different bike , then , looked again , just to be sure there wasn't a better deal. I then found this GEM of a Bike at I ride fast and hard. Precision bearing hubs!! Fast. I've tore up the ragged streets of Abq , NM for a month now. Smooth , Fast and solid. Far better Bike for my money. Thanx to me for looking again, just in case i almost sold myself the wrong bike. Go to the house and get served! thx guys!

Unbelievable value/quality level fof the price.
I owned a similar city bike at 5x the sale price I paid the House and the Framed lifted model rivals the previous in every catagory from build quality to ride efficiency. This is my 2nd Framed purchase trom the House and the same is true in both instances.

Excuse my ignorance here; since this bike has U brakes I assume it also has a freewheel, and NO coaster brake. Am I correct? thx
Tim U on Aug 15, 2013
BEST ANSWER: Framed lifted flat bar U-brake bike comes with a front and rear U-brake and a freewheel. No coaster brake
I am new to this so I am a bit confused. Can you coast on this bike? Like, go down a hill without the pedals moving?
Morgan L on Sep 26, 2013
BEST ANSWER: It is a single speed with a free wheel so you can coast. A fixed gear bicycle is one that you can not stop pedaling.

Hi. I am 5'10 and 270lbs. I am looking at the Framed Series Bike. This would be just to bike around the neighborhood with my son. I was wondering would this be the best one or is there another Framed Lifted bikes that would meet my needs?
jwp265 on Jan 29, 2015
I have the Framed Lifted 7 Bike... I got it last summer for the same purpose. I think that it is the simplest, and funnest bike I have ever owned. It is not super advanced, but I can ride it and forget about it. I think the the Lifted 7 may be perfect.
what is the top speed on this bike?
Hunter G on Mar 6, 2019
BEST ANSWER: That's a bit of a open-ended question:
1) How fit are you?
2) How big of a gear ratio can you push?

Top speed is probably what-ever you can comfortably push for your fitness level. To get that top speed you might need to replace a chainring.

Unless you asking what the gearing is, in which case I would point you to the specs in the description...
I am 5'9" 165 pounds with a 30 inch inseam what size would you recommend? 52cm or 56?
Antony R on Apr 23, 2017
BEST ANSWER: You may want to go with the 52cm. I'm 5'11" 185lbs and have a 32" inseam. I have the 56cm and it's just right. Any larger and I would have a hard time standing flat footed with the bike between my legs. Hope this helps.
what tools do i need to put it together?
Lance G on Sep 4, 2016
BEST ANSWER: If you don't no how to put a bike together don't do it. Take it to the bike shop and they will make sure everything is tight and you will be in warranty
Hello, im 6'4" 204lb, it this will be a good size bike for me?
Chavdar P on Apr 9, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I'm 6' and 170lb and I don't have many issues. Although you might want to upgrade the tires, I had multiple flats within the first month. Recommended tire pressure for the stock tires are 65-80 psi max and I put some Serfas (120 psi max) on there and haven't had many issues since.
No free wheel?
Brandon M on Apr 13, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Sure - it freewheels. It has a screw on 16 tooth bmx type freewheel on the rear hub.
I am 5'7'' 200 I am looking for a bmx cruiser bike like this one. But I am not sure if this will be too tall for me?
William A on Oct 17, 2017
BEST ANSWER: This bike is more of a road bike style frame, single speed. Framed makes the Twentysixer and Twentyniner style BMX cruisers that may be more what you are looking for. I have the 26er and I am 5'9 and it's a perfect size for me. Loads of fun.

If u are looking for the road bike style single speed, just look at the size chart to pick what size frame you need. I ride a 58cm and it is just slightly too big for me, but that's my preference.
The picture shows side-pull brakes but the description says u-brakes. Side-pulls mount to the fork crown and brake bridge with one bolt as shown in the picture. U-brakes mount to the forks and seatstays with two bolts. It would be helpful to know if the picture or description is accurate? Thanks.

You are correct. The specs listed are incorrect (the picture is right) I will update this info. Thanks!
Does the bike come with platform pedals? Also what type of stem is on the tire tube?

Is grey orange available?
Ken K on Aug 6, 2016
I just double checked with Framed, and no. The Grey / Orange colorway is no longer produced.
I am 5'8" with a 29" inseam. What size will i need or is it too big?
Shane S on Apr 19, 2016

I'm afraid the sizes we offer will be too big for you. The inseam will be around 33" which can be problematic for your size.
I am confused about what size to order. I am 5' 11" with a 30" inseam. My road bike is a 54 and a 55cm. Can you offer some guidance on proper fit for a fixie for city riding? Thanks.
Jake W on Apr 13, 2016
The 56" will be the largest you would want to go, but it would work. The 52 would be too small.
Do you carry this bike in the gray and orange color as well? If so when do you think you will get it back?
A shopper on Oct 14, 2015
Even though Framed lists the Gray/Orange colorway as an available option, they really are not producing any (We have sold our last). There will be updated versions of the Lifted Series of bikes featuring new colors some time this Spring I am told.
Do you ever plan to stock the framed lifted with coaster brake again?
Jim N on Sep 8, 2015
Framed, I believe, is deciding to redesign this Lifted Series bike... for the time-being we will not be able to re-order any of them.
Are you guys out of the orange/gray lifted single speed? 58"
Thx greg
Greg A on Aug 22, 2015
I wanted to check with the Framed guys themselves.... so sorry for the delay. We are out of the Grey / Orange colorway (my favorite). Framed says they will be releasing a 2016 version of the Lifted bikes later in the year... that will feature some new colorways.
Will you be stocking the orange and grey lifted series?
david c on Jul 28, 2015
I received info from the Framed guys that indeed we will be able to receive more of the Orange and Grey Lifted bikes.
What's the stand over height on a 52cm v. 56cm in the Lifted Flat Bar U-Brake?
F1LOCO on May 15, 2015
I just spoke to the bike shop and the stated that the stand-over of the 56cm bike is a 31.5". Going up or down a bike size will alter the stand over by about 1.5".
I am looking for Framed Lifted Flat Bar U-Brake Bike S/S - Grey/Orange in a 58cm size, but it appears to be out of stock. How soon before it is back in stock for me to order? Thanks.
Erick on May 14, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Good Day Erick,
We sold the last of our Orange and Grey 58cm frames. To be honest, we received a very few of this version of the bike... I reached out to Framed... I doubt we will be able to re-order the gray 58cm version. For that I apologize. We do have a 58cm frame in the Red version.
Is the gear ration on this 1:1? What are the chances of getting it 'custom' geared in a 2:1 or 2.3:1?
A shopper on Apr 18, 2014
BEST ANSWER: The Framed Lifted Flat Bar comes as a single speed. If you want to do any Custom work to the bike you would have to do that on your own. we will not ship a bike custom
