Description: Framed Gravier Carbon Gravel Road Bike - Rival 22 And Carbon Wheels

Just to the south of us here in St. Paul, there lies a vast land of gravel roads. 68,000 miles of virtually car free riding nirvana known to the wider world as Iowa. Having spent many years wandering along these paths and highways, we finally decided to design a bike that we felt would do these roads justice. Our new Framed Gavier Carbon features a lower bottom bracket to enhance stability in loose corners, and a longer wheelbase to help keep you comfortable and in control over the long haul. We built it tough to handle abuse, but added enough forgiveness to allow you to get up and ride again the next day.

PUB Carbon Gravel Wheelset - This wheelset features a convergence of full carbon, disc brake specific, tubeless ready rims with the workhorse PUB hub. This 32 spoke wheelset cuts through the wind while carrying rolling momentum making this an ideal wheelset for all around riding. All PUB Carbon wheels are handbuilt in St. Paul, MN. Ride assured on the terrain of your choice. Rough roads are welcomed.

Sram Rival 22 - Why settle for a drivetrain that is a trickle-down version of what the pros ride when there’s a new group that gives 100 percent of what you demand? The Rival 22 group offers comfortable textured levers, precision focused shifting, and an excellent combination of lightweight and durability. Whether you ride road, gravel, or cyclocross, Rival 22 is a group for every need.

All Around Awesome!
I bought this Gravier last spring and I couldn't be happier. Incredible quality for the price and the color way is very sharp too. I got the White and Black one.

What I really love about this bike is how versatile it is. I ride on mixed surface roads about 40 minutes outside the city where you'll be on blacktop one second and packed gravel the next. This bike handles those transitions with ease. It may be a little slower than my road bike on smooth paved roads but I make that up on the gravel. This bike has also proven to be a great commuter. I ride it to and from work a few times each week and it's held up very well. The absence of rack mounts doesn't matter since I use a frame bag and back pack. My coworkers have commented me on the bike and I have to help them off the floor after I tell them how little I paid for the bike.

I've had a couple flats but that's to be expected. The rims are still true with about 1700 miles on the bike so far. I've had the drivetrain tuned once, but it stays in adjustment seemingly well. I like the saddle that comes on this bike, a nice quality feature. The brakes are so consistent and rarely need adjusting. They do require breaking-in when you first get the bike but after that they've been rock solid. I'm due for new pads this week which will only cost me about 30 bucks.

Highly recommended!

Because of the spectacular dependability of “Framed” bikes...I have 2 “Framed” Fat tire bikes with SRAM and they are dependable, and very reasonable in price, the combination of quality product and pricing.

Do you sell a Gravier with Untegra group set?
Steve M on Oct 26, 2018
We normally do have the Gravier available with Ultegra, but we are sold out of a few key components for that build (cassette, left shifter, and a few more). We should be getting more of those components in, but I am not sure when that will be unfortunately.
what is the max tire clearance?
A shopper on Feb 16, 2018
From Framed: 'The Gravier will accept up to 700 x 35 or a 650b x 42.
