Description: Framed Gravier Carbon Gravel Road Bike - Rival 22 And Alloy Wheels

Just to the south of us here in St. Paul, there lies a vast land of gravel roads. 68,000 miles of virtually car free riding nirvana known to the wider world as Iowa. Having spent many years wandering along these paths and highways, we finally decided to design a bike that we felt would do these roads justice. Our new Framed Gavier Carbon features a lower bottom bracket to enhance stability in loose corners, and a longer wheelbase to help keep you comfortable and in control over the long haul. We built it tough to handle abuse, but added enough forgiveness to allow you to get up and ride again the next day.

Reluctant purchase..... happy ending
Friend of mine owns a Trek Domane. I was able to borrow it, and I fell in love with the multi terrain use. I was blown away by the price however, and after looking around a little I stumbled onto Framed's bikes. I bought this bike a little reluctantly thinking it was a huge down grade...... in reality it was an excellent purchase and I have money left to customize the bike as I want.

Easy to ride and a great price
The Gravier is a blast to ride. It transitions terrain type with ease and was lighter than expected. It is simple, rugged and fun.

Super happy with the purchase
I sold an older road bike so I could join the gravel bike club. Needless to say this is an AMAZING bike. This is my 3rd Framed bike and each one has been a quality build. Can't wait to take it on a nice long bikepacking trip.

Ride- So much smoother/comfortable than a traditional road bike.
Gearing- I love the simplicity of the 11 speed. I may change the front ring to a larger ring, but for now it gives me 95% of the range I need.
Rolling Resistance - These tires while big, actually roll quite well and get the job done on tarmac as well as off road.
Brakes- my major gripe with road bikes is the soft bite of the brakes. The disc brakes on this give me all I need for cornering down the canyons.
**Tubeless compatible - huge bonus for me. just buy stems and tape and you are ready to run tubeless.

Could I put 48 or 50 cc tires? I live in Sierra mt
A shopper on Sep 20, 2018
No, those would be too big. The max is 40 x 700c or 45 x 650b.
Does it come with BB7S rotors and not the regular BB7 as pictured? Also does it come with 160mm rotors and long cage rival?
A shopper on Jul 31, 2018
This bike does have Avid BB7R disc brakes, but it uses SRAM Centerline 140mm rotors. The rear derailleur is the SRAM Rival 22, which is not available in a long cage, but it is a mid-cage.
How big of a tire will it handle?
Randy F on Oct 14, 2017
BEST ANSWER: The max tire size on this bike is a 700x40mm.
How much does this bike weigh?
Casey R on May 25, 2017
Approx 19 lbs. 15 oz. (Info From Framed)
