Designed for the Minnesota 1.0 and 2.0 Bikes

Framed Bikes developed the Fattie Trail wheel set packages to maximize use of the Minnesota Fat Bike series. The additional wheel set options (Pat. pending) allows you to switch from a "fat setup" to an even lighter, faster 29" Fattie Trail wheel set. We're so excited about the design and versatility of this wheel set package that we're more or less (retail $349) giving away the Fattie Trail Wheel Set. Fits Minnesota 1.0 and 2.0 fat bikes.

You can't beat this deal!
You can't beat this deal for the price. I didn't read the fine print and was actually amazed the wheels came completely set up with Discs, Cassette, Tires and tubes. (I was surprised the tubes were schrader though. Who still uses those?). Yes, They're heavy but if weight is your concern you wouldn't buy this fatbike anyway. I took them out on the trail and I was impressed at the excellent traction and rollover they had. It's also much easier to ride up a hill with these than with my fatties. I purchased these for using my Framed for Bikepacking in the summer and taking it on vacation with the family. If you want to use your MN2 for more than just a fatty you can't beat this deal.

Well built, but not light
Well built wheels, a little overbuilt in fact. Rides nice, but shaves only five pounds off bike compared to fat tire wheels. If you are not racing they are well worth the price.

Will your fattie slim trail bike wheel set fit a surly pugsley frame set with the offset fork?
Mark S on Feb 24, 2016
These are standard Fattie Slims. The Pugsley's offset is a little unique and will not be compatible to any of Framed's wheel sets. I apologize.... you may need to head over to QBP.
Will these fit a 1.2?

No. You will want these:
What is the width of these rims in mm?
A shopper on Feb 15, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I have the slicks version which looks to be the same rim. 18mm internal rim so I wouldn't go much bigger than 2.1 tire. Wish they were wide enough for a 29+
Do these fattie slims fit on a Boris x7? Looks like the same hub sizes
Joe P on Nov 4, 2017
The hubs are the same, but these wheels come with a 9 speed cassette and 160mm rotors front and rear. You will need to swap those parts before using with the Boris X7.
I put a wren inverted fork up front so I'm just looking for a rear wheel fattie slim. Do you sell those for my 2.0?
Robert F on Jun 21, 2017
Yes but, please call Framed Bikes directly at 1.866.956.5971 to place your order for that wheel.
