I am thinking of getting a bike I would ride to the gym and back 40 miles total. Leisurely ride just long. I'm 6`1 256. Well this bike handle that?

BEST ANSWER: As to my knowledge there is not. Unless you buy the bike and add stronger wheels and cranks and get a Chromoly frame
Am 5 foot 1 inch with a 27 inch inseam will the 17 inch be too small for me?

BEST ANSWER: robo - if anything, I would worry about it being too big - the important measurement is your inseam - measure yourself (or trust your pants size), then use the Sizing & Fit link next to the size choice drop down menu to determine which size will fit you best

The 21" Framed Elite 1.0 FT Bike would be the best size for someone who's 5'10" with a 30/32" inseam.
It says Shimano front & rear derailleur. Which model derailleur are they? What about the shifters, what model are they?

The whole bike uses the Shimano Tourney TX component set.
I am looking for a bike to train for a 2 day 400 mile road ride. I am new to the biking world. Would this bike be a good fit?
