Great bike for the price
This bike is sturdy and rolls smooth! Great quality for the price! Be prepared to pay 30 bucks for shipping at the least, Also a bike shop will charge you to build it a cost of about 100 dollars depending on the shop.

I haven't owned a bike for almost 10 years , and they were prebuilt bikes from a sporting goods store.

Being priced at 169 dollars I expected big box store quality, like a cheap mongoose or next bike, but I was very delighted to see the build quality of the framed elite 1.0 CT is phenomenal. I was able to assemble it myself with a little help from the internet. I called around to see how much brake and derailleur adjustment would cost and was quoted about 45 dollars. The brake and shifter cable crimps are very brittle and a few will probably come off while it's being assembled or during your brake and derailleur adjustment. a bike shop will put new ones on if you go that route but. you can buy 100 of them for 2 dollars on amazon and do it yourself.(just use a pair of pliers to crimp them)

The Shimano revoshift shifters are a little clumsy would rather have trigger shifters. The seat as expected is small and cheap, so chances are that will be the first upgrade you buy.

When i bought the bike there was only 1 review and it was pretty generic, so I hope this helps! I recommend the framed elite 1.0 CT! Happy riding!

Framed Elite
Very good quality product for the price. Mine still needs more fine tuning and adjustment of the front derailleur. It's a great commuter bike for hilly Boston.

I am a woman 5'4" tall. I like a man's bike. What size bike do I need. Or do I need to measure my inseam?

BEST ANSWER: Your inseam measurement is helpful in trying to find a bike you can safely and comfortably ride. Unfortunately this bike is only available in the 19" size, which we would not recommend for someone your height.
I tall 5'02. Would this bike fit for me ?
A shopper on Sep 4, 2016
It will be a bit too big. At just over 5' something between a 15" and 17" frame is going to be much better.
im 5ft 10 in weigh 185 what size would I take on a framed 1.0 ct elite ?
mark k on May 23, 2016
I spoke with the Framed peeps, and they thought that for the Elite 1.0CT the 19" version would be the correct choice for you.
What size wheels should someone who is 5'8 get?
A shopper on Jun 18, 2015
I am the same size exactly. I just sat on both sizes of the Framed Elite 1.0 CT, and with some seat adjustment I believe the 17" frame is going to be the best.
