Rear derailleur hanger for the Framed Alaskan Alloy fat bike. Made of lightweight aluminum, the derailleur is meant to accept damage and preserve the life of both the frame and the rear derailleur. This part is compatible with all Framed Alaskan Alloy fat bike frames produced to date.

Is what it is
These are soft hangers. Buy a 5 pack and keep one with you at all times. Fat bikes do encourage bushwhacking. I've bent 2-3 of these in a year and a less abusive buddy has had a similar experience.

Yes they are incredibly soft and prone to bending but loads cheaper than replacing my expensive gearset.

BEST ANSWER: This is a rear derallieur hanger, not a derallieur and is only compatible with the Framed AK Alloy Frame.

I just spoke to the Framed guys, and our bike shop, and this derailleur will be compatible exclusively to the Alaskan Alloy series bikes.
