These Carbon fiber Fatbike wheels are light, fast and the best Fatbike upgrade for the money.
I picked up a set of the Carbon fiber Fatbike wheels with the DT Swiss hubs. They setup tubeless effortlessly without a rim strip! The weight savings was very noticeable right out of the gate. They climb really well. Handbuilt in the US and the finish of the rims is top notch. By far the best upgrade bang for your buck.

I have an Alaskan frame. Does the rear hub have the ability to be changed to 190 QR instead of TA?
A shopper on Oct 16, 2016
Yes. There are 190 QR end caps available for this wheel set. You will need to call customer service to have them manually added to your order.
Will these swap onto an Alaskan Carbon with no further modification?
IWASFRAMED on Jan 8, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Hi Michael,
From Framed: "Yes. These wheels are ready to use out of the box on an Alaskan Carbon. Keep in mind you may need a specific driver body configuration dependent on the drivetrain you're using on your bike. Please call Framed Bikes directly if you would like to ensure compatibility of this wheel set and your bike."
Is the rear hub an 18 or 36 tooth ratchet system?
A shopper on Feb 9, 2017
BEST ANSWER: The hubs we have in stock utilize an 18t ratchet system.
What is the tubeless compatibility? I use Maxxis FBR/FBF 4.8's. Easy to set up, just rim tape and a compressor?
chris e on Jan 30, 2017
Setting up tubeless is always a process the first time. If you have carbon rims, it should be as simple as that. However if you have alloy rims, it can be very tricky. I would suggest working with your local bike mechanic the first time you do this either way. YouTube videos are also quite helpful.
Are these carbon rims single walled or double?
A shopper on Nov 3, 2016
From our Bike Shop: This rim is a single/dual wall hybrid rim. That means the rim is a solid single wall from the center out just past the spoke holes, then widens to a double wall system at the bead seat. This both minimizes weight and increases durability.
Will these work on a Framed Minnesota 2.0 with 4" tires in the back and 4.8's up front?
A shopper on Oct 4, 2016
BEST ANSWER: unfortunately the hub spacing on the wheels and axle type is not compatible. You can give our bike department a call and they can make a custom set to match your Minnesota 2.0 if you would like the price will be relatively the same depending on the hubs that they order for the build.
