Description: Framed Alaskan Carbon NX Eagle 1X12 Fat Bike 27.5

The 2019 Alaskan Carbon was designed with two goals in mind: Make it fast. And make it fun! We are proud to say after a long development process, we achieved both of those goals. One way we delivered on these promises was by inserting 27.5 inch wheels and tires where 26 inch wheels once existed. By increasing the tire diameter, rollover momentum increases substantially. The contact patch is narrowed and lengthened which creates better tracking and less self-steer. The redesigned tubing of the Alaskan Carbon increases power transfer while retaining compliance. This is most beneficial during root-ripping, white knuckle, singletrack missions. We achieved all this while keeping the integrity of the fat bike model. Winter rides through the snow have never been so fun. The frame also comes with a removable custom downtube protector to keep your frame safe from trail gnomes and rock goblins. A unique routing system with access at the bottom bracket enables full length shifter housing making maintenance a breeze. We delivered so you can send it. So, what’s your excuse?

Solid Build!

I received my Alaskan 3 days ago and am very pleased! This is my first experience with Framed and owning a fat bike. I've been a cyclist for the past 25 years, mainly MTB cross-country and cyclocross. The last few years I've not been impressed with the options and the builds (and weight!) from most brands. Enter the Alaskan Carbon 27.5! The geometry, component spec, and price finally seemed right for me. The House did an excellent job packing the shipping the bike. The assembly went well. The first ride lived up to expectations! Looking forward to fun this winter. I set mine up tubeless and this thing weighs 26.5 lbs!

What is the weight of this bike with the mastodon fork and carbon wheels?
A shopper on Oct 29, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Hey,
Per our Framed guys: "We do not release the exact weights of our bikes due to the scope of build options we offer, however a Alaskan Carbon with suspension and carbon wheels will generally weigh around 31-32 lbs give or take on size and with tubes installed. With a carbon fork and alloy wheels it would be about the same, again with tubes installed. By going tubeless you can shed another 2-3 lbs pretty easily."
Whats the standover height on the 18" frame?

Hello, wondering if there is a geo chart available for this model? I didn’t see one listed. Thank you!
