    Fun bike!
So I wanted to get into gravel riding with my friends. It's really fun but I just couldn't keep up with my mtb. I needed something faster. I did some searching and came across this Fuji Cross 1.5 being sold at The House. For the price there just wasn't anything out there that compared in quality. I decided to take the plunge and am happy I did!

The bike comes partially assembled in its original shipping carton so some assembly is required. If you're competent with wrenches and have the basic bike tools you can build it yourself or it will have to given to a bike shop to assemble. The bike is pretty light, 19.8 lbs for a 51mm, which isn't too shabby.

The components are mostly Fuji house brand, not the lightest but functional. The house brand wheels are heavy (~2100 grams) but solid. I like the Sram Rival 1 groupset a lot, it just works well. I like not having to deal with front shifting . There are plenty of good reviews online about the Sram Rival. The brakes are mechanical which I thought would be the only letdown on the bike but they work surprisingly well. They have good bite and modulation. The only downside is the spongy feel they have when you give them a hard squeeze. It's nothing severe enough that would make me consider swapping them out.

So far I have about 100mi on the bike and have been quite pleased with my my purchase!

(disclaimer: this review was both the thoughts of myself and my boyfriend who performed all the mechanical work of the bike including building it!)

What is the largest tire this bike can accommodate. 42mm?
    Jerry B on May 25, 2019
BEST ANSWER: We can only find reviews that state up to 40c. And Fuji does not list the max clearance on their site unfortunately.
Will the rear derailleur work with a 11-42t cassette?
    A shopper on Jul 4, 2019
BEST ANSWER: The bike comes with a 11-32 cassette, not 11--42. I have not tried a 42t cassette so I can't confirm if it will work.
does the fork have a carbon steerer?

BEST ANSWER: The Fork does have a carbon steerertube.
