    Shipping headaches but fantastic bike
    BIKE 5/5:
The Fuji Ambient is an absolutely amazing bike. It is good looking (better than I imagined from the photos), has smooth power delivery, and has been giving me around 45+ miles of real-world range with Tour/Sport assistance and moderate pedaling. The more I learn about bike components and design, the more this bike makes sense as a trail-focused bike.

I have taken the Fuji onto some rough terrain (coarse sharp gravel, crazy tree roots, etc.) and the Schwalbe Nobby Nics have acquitted themselves well, surviving rougher and sharper terrain than I thought they would.

The Bosch mid-drive is smooth and refined.

My experience with The House was... less than perfect. Their systems are set up to tell you 'Order placed' and 'Order shipped', which would work during normal times. In my case, there was a full week in between the two with no word sent in between as to progress. It was a week of hoping, worrying, and calling... day after day.
    1. Due to Covid, they had far fewer customer reps than normal (which I understand and sympathize with) and that meant I spent many days calling the phone number, waiting on hold for 20 minutes to the same Michael Franti songs, then often being automatically disconnected.
    2. After my bike was shipped, the system gave me the wrong tracking number. More calls, more hours spent on hold, and two numbers later (the updated tracking number they gave me was also wrong), I got the correct number a day before the bike arrived.

The order and shipping process was something of a nightmare for me and took up hours of hold time + worrying. I give maybe 50% of that back in credit because of the strange times we're going through and the pressure every retailer is under. However, I wish the House would be better about notifying customers during periods of serious delay.

Finally, and this is not the fault of The House as far as I know, the bike's box was delivered in awful condition. Massive holes and damage. Fortunately the bike itself appeared to be fine and I'm absolutely loving it now.

This bike has put a smile on my face every time I've ridden it so far, and it's been 300 miles so far in one month. Enjoy!

Great bike, great price, and great service.
Great bike at an even better price. A little on the big side for the 21 inch, but better big than small when you have long arms like me. Love the torque sensing, better than magnetic pas. Great folks as always. Little longer shipping time with the covid deal, but that's life, and was worth the wait.

how many miles per hour ? & how many miles per battery charge ?
    james w on Apr 8, 2020
BEST ANSWER: The bike speed tops out at just over 19mph with the motor assist and then it shuts off if you pedal faster or go down a hill above 19mph. The motor kicks back on once you drop below 19mph. The range is 84 miles for Eco mode and then drops as you use the faster Tour, Sport, and Turbo modes.
