Get To Bear This Saturday!
We’re so close. Fresh videos are about to hit the shelves, snowguns are getting one last maintenance check before the temps drop, and Bear Mountain’s annual Hot Dawgz and Hand Rails contest is this weekend already. All the top pros will be checking in this weekend to get some turns in under the hot Southern California sun.
Hot Dawgz and Hand Rails has been the kickoff to the winter season for several years now, and Clayton Shoemaker and his crew are always setting up something to surprise spectators and impress the pros. In addition to the action on-snow, there is a tent village full of sponsors showing off all the new goods that you can get deals on here at The House. There’s deals on season passes to Bear, giveaways, and of course the lodge bar for those of age.

The festivities begin at 2 p.m. on Saturday, and once the contest is over and the sun starts setting, get ready to sit back and enjoy a pair of premieres. Bear Mountain has been putting out solid, feel-good videos for a few years now, so starting things off with their new effort, Paint It Red, promises to be a good time. Then, the People crew’s latest Cheers should make for a bangin’ nightcap.
