    Really great jacket
    No matter how hard and high I search, I always seem to come back to The North Face. I use their Freedom bib for snowboarding and now with this Triclimate coat, I'm set.

    I'm 5'10" and about 165lbs and am usually a Medium or Large depending on what I'm using it for. I initially purchased the Large size, knowing that even though it is true to size, I wanted something more roomy for boarding. The large was nice and roomy, but because of its tailored shape, felt too boaty in the body section. I returned it and got the Medium and again, even though it's a true to size (38/40 chest0, it was a perfect fit. I thought because of its perfect fit, however, I thought I'd have trouble maneuvering on my board. After about 7 days on the slopes, I was super happy with it.

    It's mad warm -- had to take layers off usually and doesn't get the wet in at all. Love the deep pockets, and flexibility.

    Very happy with this purchase.

    Great Jacket
    The liner is great and looks good on its own and the shell keeps the water out very well. I got the black on black and aside from it functioning very well, it looks good.

    Perfect, keeps warm and dry and on warmer days you can take inner liner out and stay cooler but remain dry

    is the hood helmet compatible?

    BEST ANSWER: It should fit over smaller helmets. Depends on the size of the helmet though.

    BEST ANSWER: It does not have a powder skirt because of the zip in liner. There is a hem draw cord to help keep the snow out though.
