Are the leg vent mesh lined?
A shopper on Dec 11, 2017
BEST ANSWER: No, they unzip open to whatever you're wearing underneath. Very effective ventilation. I only had to open them about an inch to get some air flow
My question concerns Mountain Hardware Returnia Cargo ski pants (item # mh4rtc04rw17) and Mountain Hardware Returnia Insulated ski pants (item # mh4rti04pb17). It appears that the shell of both are made from the same material. Yet, the insulated model weights less (680g) than the Cargo model (700g uninsulated). Also, the insulated model costs less ($134.95) than the Cargo model ($149.95 uninsulated). I have puzzled over this for a long time, and the only explanation I can come-up with is a specification in the insulated model which says that its length from center back is 32 inches long,
which is very short. If I am wrong, what is the answer? Thanks very much. Have a great day. Frank

Great question, and sorry for the delay.... I wanted to consult a couple people. Their response: "Both are very nice pants. The length is the same. The "Center Back" length on the Insulated pants is an error. It should be a 32" inseam which is an average length. The price difference comes from MH themselves and is based on a couple things. As far as which to buy, It just depends on if you want that extra bit of insulating warmth the Insulated Pant offers. They are both very quality ski/snow pants."
