Merrell Fluorecein Shell 6 Hiking Boots - Womens

I needed waterproof winter boots with good traction. I wanted a shorter boot to wear on the work room floor and out for delivering mail without the extra bulk. These fit the bill.
I have only worn them in the house so far, but they fit my feet well and they are comfortable. I bought a 1/2 size bigger, which was perfect. When tying the boots, I tried looping the shoestrings around the hooks at the very top of the boot and tying them. The boots felt a bit restrictive at the top with it tied at the top. I then tied the shoes without looping the top hooks, and the boots felt more comfortable around my shins. I think the tops will become more comfortable with a little wear. I will try to update this review for comfort, performance, and durability after I wear the boots for a few months.
