Groundhog day is coming up and this year that little furry friend will mark the 4th Annual Hoofer Rail Jam at University of Wisconsin Madison. Get that snow stick of yours de-tuned an ready to thrash up some rails. Did we mention that all entry to compete is free and Windward will be giving away a $100 gift card + a whole bunch of other fun swag?
The competition will be held on February 2nd from 5 to 9pm on Observatory Hill, by Liz Waters Hall (1200 Observatory Drive). Come by and enjoy the sights or compete in the event and hang out with fellow riders.
general info
- Registration will be from 3pm-4:30pm
- Practice will be from 4pm-4:45pm
- Competition will be from 5-9pm
- Competitors must be 18+
- Riders will be competing for prize packages from First Drop Outerwear and Windward Boardshop
- Music from WUD Music and Red Bull MXT
- Competitors can register in the Hoofer Outdoor Programs Office in Memorial Union (608-262-1630) or they can register from 3-4pm at the event
- Pre-registered riders must check in by 4:30pm.
