Landyacthz has a vast line of boards ranging from rigid downhill performance boards to small, fun cruiser boards. Started back in 1997 by two friends from the Northshore of Vancouver, their goal has always been to make the best boards on the market with innovative design and durability. We can confidently say they are succeeding at this goal. Skater owned and operated to this day, Landyachtz is producing some of the best longboards on the market. Carving
Landyachtz Battle Axe
Available in both 35″ and 40″ sizes, the bamboo beauty that is the Landyacthz Battle Axe is a carving and cruising dream come true. With a drop through mount to keep you riding a little lower, this board will push and pull through turns smoother than you can imagine. The wide body shape helps with stability and the slight W concave will keep you locked into place for turns and higher speeds. It also helps that this board is quite aesthetically pleasing.
Landyachtz Pinner
With a classic bamboo look and snappy fiberglass construction, the Landyacthz Pinner is a lightweight and super fun carving machine. This board has great flex, making it comfortable to ride and easy to pump and carve your way thru your local streets. A very slight W concave helps add stability without feeling too aggressive and the Bear Trucks offer great responsiveness and control. Landyachtz gives this board and 8 of of 10 on the flexy scale so it’s not ideal for fast downhill but perfect for carving and cruising. Roll up this pinner and hit those streets!
Landyachtz Dropcarve
One of our favorite boards in the lineup and perfect for carving your local streets and hills is the Landyachtz Dropcarve. Available in both 37″ and 40″ sizes, this playful little drop through deck has great flex and cut out wheel wells so you will have no fear of wheel bite no matter how brutal your turns are. With a nice wide body and variable concave, this board is super stable, low to the ground and extremely comfortable/easy to ride. A beginner can jump on this board and feel super comfortable while a more experienced rider can rip this board and really enjoy the shape and flex.
Downhill
Landyachtz Evo
With the title of one of the most iconic downhill boards of all time, the Landyachtz Evo is a force to be reckon with. This super stiff and super stable ride has a drop down profile and high concave to keep your feet locked in at the highest speeds. The wheel wells are cut out for limitless wheel size options and the blunted nose and tail cut down swing weigh. For the highest speeds and toughest terrain, the Landyachtz Evo is the only way to go.
Landyachtz Switchblade
One of Landyachtz most popular downhill / free ride machines is the one and only Switchblade. Available in a slew of different sizes and colors, the Switchblade is extra stiff and has a very pronounced W concave that locks your feet down for a very stable ride. Drop through trucks keep you sitting nice and low, giving the rider a lower center of gravity for better balance and stability. Also equipped with gas pedals at the nose and tail so you can push confidently into your turns while the heavy grit grip tape keep your feet in their place.
Landyachtz 9 two 5
Are there hills in space? If there are , somebody up there probably has the Landyachtz 9 two 5 board. This mean whip is completely symmetrical so you can ride it any way you want, has a medium concave, slight rocker and some serious gas pedals at the nose and tail. The sidewalls are gripped in key positioning areas to help you add more power and control while initiating slides. If you are looking for ultimate stability for free riding and fast down hills speeds, then you may be interested in the magical space machine that is the 9 two 5.
Cruisers
Landyachtz Dinghy
The most fun you can have on land comes from the Landyachtz Dinghy. This little street friendly cruiser has an old school shape with small, soft cruiser wheels and the perfect amount of nose and tail kick. Just under 29″ and 8″ wide, the size makes this board the perfect compact shred machine. Cruising the boardwalk or ripping through the city streets, hop on board your Dinghy and set sail.
Landyachtz Stout
The Landyacthz Stout is a perfectly mean little cruiser that can tear through turns and ollie off curbs with the best of them. At 36″, this board is not too short and definitely not too long making it great for maneuvering thru your city or cruising your local beach. The exposed bamboo top sheet looks great and while the very slight flex offers a comfortable ride. The wheel wells are flared out so no need to worry about wheel bite. Just drink in this tasty Stout and enjoy the ride!
Landyachtz Fiberglass Totem
The most classic of all the cruiser shapes is a clean pintail and that’s exactly what you get with the Landyacthz Fiberglass Totem. Much more flexible than the bamboo Totem, the fiberglass option has a little spring to it making it perfect for getting around town, hitting bumps, rocks and cracks in the sidewalk. At 41″ long, the Totem is a perfect length. It’s short enough to lug around if you have to jump on the train or bus, but long enough to be a super comfortable cruiser. The Totem also has a very slight W concave, offering great arch support and excellent comfort for carving and zipping through turns.
