Never Again
As a member of a bushwalking club, and hearing from others that Keen had boots that suited broad feet, I bought a pair of Targhee IIs a couple of years ago. Did a couple of bushwalks in them plus some additional walking as training for the Camino. Walked the 800Km Camino, came back to Australia and did a few more bushwalks only to find that the sole was parting company with the upper. So, just over 1,000kms and failure. Just out of warranty by a month, so no joy. Gave Keens the benefit of the doubt and bought a pair of Targhee EXPs in March 2018. Now, some 700 or 800kms later, stitching is coming apart in the upper and exposing the so-called waterproof internal lining. Again, just out of warranty. Seems to be a pattern. I will never buy Keen boots again.

I Used them Strictly for inside work! I bought them at Fred T's Shoes in Fort Wayne and $40 insoles to go in the Shoes. I do maintenance so I'm bending over all day long repairing and fixing The first two months they were great after that they started ripping on the sides. I would not recommend these boots to anyone!!!!! Would've been nice to have my money back but store policy says you wear them you deal with it my total investment was 165.00 what a rip off !!!!!!

I would buy these again.
I am a city carrier for the USPS. I walk 7-8 miles per day, rain or shine. These boots are comfortable and keep my feet dry in the rain. A+

Not made as well
I have purchased targhee 2's for 5 years. It takes me almost a year to walk the soles out and the upper has always held up. In less than 6 months at about the same time both boots blew out right at the connection of the soles to the upper. Outside of the shoe back from my little toe, both shoes same area. Synthetic outer just gave and the keen dry is all that held it together. Bought another pair of targhee 2's. I'm hoping those dont get discontinued but I won't be buying these again

Great boots and great customer service
I am 76 years old and still hiking in the mountains. I recently bought a pair of Targhee II because I needed the wider foot box and heard how comfortable Keen shoes were. The Targhee II served me well but unfortunately developed a leak. Keens customer service was wonderful they immediately sent me a credit. When I went to repurchase I found that Targhee now came in three different options. Again I called Keen and we agreed that the EXP was the better boot for hot and wet North Carolina. I have worn the boots three times and they're comfortable right out of the box. Actually like them better than the Targhee II. Highly recommend.

They saved my feet!
First day I wear my Keens and it ends up a downpour. I had to break a tent down and basically my entire body was wet. EXCEPT my feet! I was so thankful for my Keens. They kept my feet dry even in 2-3 inches of standing water and a down pour. I hate wet feet.

Great Boot!
As always Keen boots are broken-in wearable out of the box and the Targhee EXPs performed well.
Unfortunately, there was no Pacific Northwest rain that day to test them against but there have been many opportunities here in Rockies to test them and they have not disappointed.

Feels like a welcome old Keen
These run true to size and feel like my older Keens did ten years ago, which is a good thing because some of the more recent models have not, including previous Targhees I've tried a few years ago. Build quality is excellent and they have good, outdoorsy all around soles. However don't think of these Mids as boots... they are shoes with less heel lift and less dirt crawls inside. They offer hardly any more support than a low shoe but the higher sides do protect your ankles from rocks. Albeit they are a bit hotter than low shoes. I wear a difficult to find size 17 and I appreciate Keen making some models in XXL sizes. Please make more supportive BOOTS for us big guys and please try to return more shoe manufacturing to the USA ~ I would gladly pay a premium for MiUSA Size 17 footwear. Thanks

I am moving on to somthing else.
I use thes boots for work, I have been wearing Keen Boots for about 8 years. Although there very comfortable, the quality of material is not going to hold up like the real leather has. The new plasticy material does not support my feet as good as some of the older boots I have had. Actually I'm quite disappointed with KEEN every time I find a boot that works for me. They have discontinued it and offer new styles that are similar and not quite as good quality.. When I first started buying keen boots the reason for my loyalty was the quality that I was purchasing I no longer feel that way.. They should remember to their loyal customers I hve spent lots of money with KEEN and now I'm getting a less qualityboot for even more money. Time to start looking elsewhere for something that fits nice and wont I have to buy 2 to 3 pair at a time to insure i have the boot I like to where. When these boots waer out I have one more brand new pair at that time I will be trying new boots from other manufacturers.

Get the leather version.
Well... i spend a lot of time bending, crouched etc. These boots pinched the top of toes. After a month of wearing the "leather" nearest sole is now delaminating and the rubber toe cover glue is letting go (both boots)I will have to call them to be warrantied. The sole is really thin and not robust so you can really feel the ground, and i love this part.
