Versatile Day Hiking Pack
I've been through a lot of day packs, searching for the most versatile pack and the right volume. I hit the jackpot with the Juno 20. It has so much versatility with all the cushioning for comfort, pockets and compartments for storage, hydration capability and extra features, like the sunglass hook and tool attachments. I actually summited Mt. Hood and Mt. St. Helens with this day pack. For the Hood trip, my guides suggested people carry a 40-50L pack, but I got away with this 20L pack. Amazingly, I fit everything on the gear list inside, with the ice axe attached and helmet in the mesh front pocket. The guides doubted I could and were amazed! I was happy because it just meant a lighter pack!! This pack goes everywhere with me and despite my year of use (abuse), it is still in perfect condition.

Best Day pack ever
This is a great pack for day hiking. More quality than any comparable brands. This is my first Gregory and will not be my last one.

Cute, compact and comfortable.
The pockets on the side of the pack that I would carry water in are not deep enough for a medium size water bottle, it falls out constantly. It won't stand up and falls over awkwardly. If you pack to small front pocket, its hard to get items in the main pouch. I will continue to use it, but I was initially disappointed.

Most comfortable day pack !
I have had this bag for a couple of months and has been one of my favorite day packs . It is perfect for a day hike with 3 lit hydration pack , enough space to pack food and snacks , a pair of extra clothes and a jacket . The cool thing about this bag is the outside mesh . It expands well , you can use it for saving wet clothes ,jackets , sunscreens , collect trash . the back has a great support and almost feels like I have nothing on my back. It has well supported hip straps to take the weight for you . All in all , a great day pack .

It's a winner!
The bag is the right size for day hikes in warm and colder climates, it is easy to strap hiking poles to it; I have used it for biking and it's comfy as long as i don't stuff the side pockets; I am using it right now as my carry-on bag because i figured out that it is big enough to hold my laptop in a neoprene sleeve! I tried out 4 bags and all different sizes but this Juno 20 liter bag is the most versatile. AND it came with a 3 l hydration bladder for those hikes in the Sierras. Love it!

I love Gregory packs
This is my second Gregory pack. I have a larger one and needed one for light day hiking in Summer. The 20 liter is a perfect size and with the frame, sits off my back so that I don't get so sweaty. I don't use the included water bladder so I'd have wanted easier access to water bottles while hiking. All in all a great product.

Don't recommend
There are a lot of issues with this pack.

1) The hose is about impossible to get off and as a result you can't get it dry or get a brush in it to clean. It is getting moldy. The only way to clean it is to use a product like Bottle Bright. I called Gregory and they said not to use that very often as it can degrade the material. Good grief it is only Vitamin C and peroxide. That shouldn't bother anything. It is non-toxic and all ingredients are food grade.

2) The magnet on the hose is not strong enough and doesn't stay on. I am not talking about when moving either. Sitting on the table it pops right off.

3) I am 5" 4" and weigh 125 lbs. The hip belt is too big. My waist/hip measurement is well within what Gregory states it will fit. It's not like I am some tiny person.

4) It states the hip belt pockets are large and will hold a smartphone. I have a very old smartphone that I use while hiking. It is itty-bitty-tiny compared to the phones that are being produced now. It won't fit in the hip belt pocket.

Too small for full day of hiking
Should not be called a day hiking day pack, as it does not have much capacity, aside from the hydration, and 3 small pockets. The large pocket is shallow but very deep, not well organized, and not enough room for a guidebook and jacket and lunch, for instance. Good for the very light packer, or a kid.
