Worth every single red cent
I have to say, after going through several insoles, several boots, from k2 to burton back to DC these boots by far surpass the rest. Comfort is huge thing I was loooking for and these guys nailed it. The lower boa doesn’t squeeze your feet so tight that it gets cramped. The upper boa is snug and allows a lot of movement but also give you the support you need on the mountain. My K2 Mysis’ looked haggard after 2 -3 runs, these ones took on all of Utah, Brighton, snowbird, and park city and the boots still look like I just took them out of the box. I’m a bit of a bigger person and my feet were constantly cramping me with all other boots, these were as close to walking in sneakers as I’ve ever felt with snowboard boots.

sic boots
Just make sure you buy 1/2 a size larger than you are used to with the DC boots. I've tried to buy size 10 twice, (different year and boot) and both times my toes were touching the end. The 10.5 works great. These boots, in particular, seems to help my riding by filling my bindings up better, offering more stability, and better traction from the soles.

Haven't actually used them yet though
My last pair of boots were 2016 DC Judge in 10.5. I read a review or 2 recommending going a half size up for this model, so I just bought the 11. It seems like I made the right call. My toes go all the way to the end without curling. I'm hoping they don't pack in too much, but if they do, I guess I'll add some other type of packing or reinforcement. I was a little hesitant because the last pair did take a while to pack in; so it felt a little weird having these fit right out of the box. They do feel a little roomy on top of my foot. But we'll see how that goes. I strapped into my board and was buttering around my living room and my ankles were not pulling out of the boots.

FYI I pretty much always wear size 11 in Nike and Adidas sneakers. Just wanted to chime in if you're trying to decide on size. I'll try to come back later and give a performance review.

Already digging the slime tongue or whatever its called. Makes it easy to put on and take off.

Best boots Money can buy
Best boots I've ever bought. For years I've wrapped my ankles so I could send it. I have bad ankles after years of beating on them the stiffness of this boot allows me to use my boot more than my ankles. These boots just bought me a few more years of sending it! I like them so much I'm buying next year's pair as soon as I can! The only thing that would make it even better would be an air system that you can pump for custom compressed fit.

So glad I got these
I’m in love, these things are the perfect amount of snug and stiff to really give incredible response. My first pair of BOA boots and I’m so glad I made the switch. If you’re thinking about these, just do it already. I ordered a half size smaller than my normal shoe size as I prefer snug.

I would buy them again.
Boots are great. Stiff responsive and light. I had a weird pressure point just on the side of one foot first few times time I used them but after 40 days in them they felt great. The storm flap over the front is a nice addition when hiking with all the snow we have had in California this season.

Will the Travis rice Boot fit well for someone with wide feet size 13?
ryan a on Oct 23, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Hey Ryan,
I don't think that you will have an issue once the boots pack out. DC boots tend to fit a wide variety of foot shapes. It is hard to say without you trying them on first though.
I wear a K2 Maysis size 11. Should I get a size 11 or 11.5?
Austin P on Apr 20, 2019
BEST ANSWER: These boots are a great choice! I would recommend going with the size 11.5 in the DC Travis Rice Boa Snowboard Boots as they run a bit lower volume in the toebox compared to the K2 Maysis you are currently riding in.
How do these boots fit compared to street shoes? I wear a 10.5-11 in street shoes and I am currently using an older pair of DC judge size 12 that fit me fairly decent. Looking at getting new boots and want to know what size to get. Thanks.

BEST ANSWER: I wear a 10.5 sneaker and bought a 10.5 booth and they fit perfect. Maybe get 1/2 size bigger if you want more room in the front
Do this boots (brown) need any special care? It looks like leather. I don't want destroy them because I was reckless
Laco O on Dec 18, 2018
BEST ANSWER: No, I bought mine and love them. Already rode in this 10 times this season and I haven't bothered to wash them or do anything special. Highly Recommend by the way
