Simple but far from basic, the Phase remains snowboarding’s best boot value, featuring the ease of traditional lace closure and the comfort of our lightweight UNILITE™ Foundation outsole.
I've had the same pair of D.C. Phase boots for at least 3 years and I ride super aggressively. I tried different brands of boots and other D.C. Models but the phase boot line is something I don't see myself switching from. Very good boot if you like something with a bit more flex and not super stiff.
Not overly tight, however I am worried my feet will ache after a bit of time on the mountain. I hope the inserts wear in so my feet have a bit more room. Not unbearable though and they are soft and comfy 90% the time.
I purchased these boots for my son. He loves them, they are great quality and we received them in a very timely manner. Very happy with this purchase and will be purchasing more from this store soon.
I am a big fan of this boot and would definitely recommend it. the boot is comfortable and responsive when riding. Only drawback is on day 4 the foam sole started to separate from the boot at the heal. Hopefully it doesn't, but if it does come off I feel that this would be a quick and easy fix for a boot repair shop.
Any new features on this boot compared to the 2016 model?

BEST ANSWER:Hi, The only difference between the 2016 model and this years will be that the sole is going to be a different color. All the features are the same.
