I bought one for my son to use and saw how easy it was to get out of I decided to buy one for myself. Previously had a short leash which was hard to get off since it was under pants.Love that its aliitle on the long side and has a large buckle which make it easy to get on and off.

The leash was super easy to use. It expands enough to fit around your boot and doesnt get in the way at all.

Dakine leash
I like most things from dakine even though in my opinion they seem like a 3rd party brand for snowboard industry. Dakine leash holds up well. I tested it on all my boards off my hands and they hold the board even with it bouncing around. Good dependable leashes from dakine. Get yours today!

gets the job done
i got this leash so i could legally ride at crystal mountain in michigan. i am glad i got it even though i didnt think i needed it. i was on the top of a black diomond run and i caught my back edge and my boots actually came out of my bindings. i am very glad i wasnt running all the way down the mountain after my board. i also use this on my wakeboard for a camera i use on it. i have a suction cup mount that you can put on anything flat. i really didnt want to take a chance on losing my camera so i just attatched this leash to it. i have complete trust in this leash and i highly recommend this. i mean its just 5 bucks.

Dakine leash
Overall this is a good leash for anyone. It is easy to get on and off and fits on pretty much any binding without hassle. It does get a little annoying when you want to get out of your binding just because it is so long, but its not that big of a deal

Most slopes make you have one these days, and it keeps your board from going down the mountain without you

What are these used for?
A shopper on Jan 29, 2015
BEST ANSWER: The end with the loop can be attach to your bindings the other is wrapped and clipped around your leg, boot laces, etc. The purpose is in case your board becomes unbinded your snowboard doesn't shoot down the mountain, lost forever or worse severely injuring someone. Some resorts require these, some don't..for the ones that do some chairlift operators will deny you access without a leash.
