Dakine has a long history of functional, durable ski packs. I like the thoughtful features and no-nonsense design; I appreciate a helmet carry, dedicated easy-access spot for water, multiple carry systems and an oversize pull strap on the top (all things my current pack lacks). I also need a pack for my smaller torso; at barely 5'5" I'm usually overwhelmed by men's packs.
