Best boots ever
I have had a really hard time finding boots that gave me enough ankle support and these have been great! They are very comfortable. I haven't used them heated yet because I could find the correct Therm-ic packs to go with them, but I'm looking forward too it!

I carve hard and I ride fast. I have Burton Sapphires which is a 4 in terms of stiffness. While I enjoy the park at times, I mostly enjoy gunning down groomed trails. After spraining my ankle twice in the Sapphires, I really needed a much stiffer boot and with the Qs being a 7, I'm excited to ride without worrying about the boots flexing too much.

Which years are they 2011/2012 or 2013? Also do they size small?
Emmanuelle on Jan 23, 2014
BEST ANSWER: I own these boots and I am pretty sure they are the 2012/13 season. I feel they run true to size, slightly snug. I'd like to wear my boots tight so that I have complete control. They are not good boots if you like wearing looser fitting boots or consider yourself a park rat.
what year are these?
terri k on Apr 6, 2014
BEST ANSWER: These are the 2009 model
Do the Burton Q snowboard boots come with a rechargeable battery pack or does it need to be purchased separately? Is there anything additional needed to heat the boots?
Michelle K on Jan 3, 2014
BEST ANSWER: You have to buy a battery pack separate They have rechargeable and ones that use double A. On a side note my wife thought they ran small on size.
Can you use these boot just to walk on the snow? I do not snowboard, but I'm looking for some comfortable walking snow boots.
Lizzz on Jan 9, 2016
BEST ANSWER: You could but I wouldn't classify these as comfortable snow boots for walking. They pitch your weight forward as if you were snowboarding so you kind of walk with bent knees. Not as much as ski boots but enough. I have a pair of Sorels for après ski and they are comfy. Good treads, super warm, easy to get on and off. The snowboard boots take a good 10 minutes to get on.
Do these boots work with K2 rear entry bindings?
hyelee k on Nov 23, 2013
BEST ANSWER: I own these boots and have had other Buton Q boots before these. I do not find them to be any wider or deeper than any other boot in the heel so I cannot see any reason they wouldn't work. I use them with Ride Bandita and Burton bindings. Unless you have a difficulty with finding boots that fit the K2 system I would say go for it! I find it to be the best boot on the market and I snowboard every weekend December through March!
My wife got these but how do the heaters work? Is there a plug that should have came with them?
HVAC GOD on Oct 1, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Ok, this is tough.
I have searched for ever. I came across a couple on e-bay, but as far as retail these are the only ones I found: or,default,pd.html However, I am still looking.
What year is this Q boot?
A shopper on Nov 19, 2016
BEST ANSWER: This Burton Q Boot is the 2010 model year.
I recently bought these boots and am very happy with them. Does anyone know exactly how to use the rechargeable heat pack? Thanks so much.
Claire M on Nov 29, 2015
The Heat pack for these boots was designed by Therm-ic to be sold separately. Your boots already have the right liner... you just plug them in. You can still get the correct pack from Therm-ic themselves.
what are the difference between the 2009 model and 2012? and why is the 2009 model more expensive?
A shopper on Dec 2, 2014
I realize that is odd. The original cost to us was way more for the 2009 model, I am assuming because it was new. I checked and both of the boots are listed reasonable and proportional to the cost. However, you can chat with our Customer Service people to see what they can do: 1 (800) 409-7669
