Description: Bern Watts Thinshell Bike Helmet

The original visor helmet serves up a unique style with comfort and protection so whether you're on your board, bike, the slopes, or in the water, the Watts, will have a model to match your needs. The EPS is a certified helmet, unlike the Watts HardHat counterpart, that is not.
SO why do you want that, you ask? Why does it exist?
The EPS/Thin Shell model is a certified helmet for both bike and snow. This model uses a thin ABS shell lined with EPS Foam to create a burly lightweight lid. A certified helmet is designed to crack and absorb a gnarly impact, much like you may encounter should you take a hard spill on the hill or riding your bike. Depending on the season your helmet will come with either an EPS Summer Comfort Liner or an EPS Winter Liner and you can buy the alternating season's liner based on your needs to keep up with you through the seasons.

Key Features of Bern Watts Thinshell Bike Helmet:
  • Weight: 17-19.4oz
  • Standards: CPSC, ASTM F 2040, EN 1077B, EN 1078
  • thinSHELL: A thin ABS shell lined with EPS foam to create a burly lightweight All Season lid
  • Crank Fit: Customized fit with performance moisture control and airflow
  • 2 Shell Sizes
  • The Original Flip Visor - Patented

Solid helmet
This helmet is priced reasonable and is a great helmet. Cool styling, very comfortable fit, and average in breathability. I like that it can be used as a snow helmet too. You can purchase the winter liner which is thicker and covers your ears although I used it with a hat on underneath last year and didn't have the winter liner and that worked out great. This helmet is definitely worth the money.

BEST ANSWER: Hi Oleksander,

The best option for you would be to get the XXL Bern Watts Thinshell Bike Helmet and wear a thin beanie. Check out the Bjorn Daehlie Polyknit Beanie HERE:
