This chair is a must purchase for any serious outdoor pro
For over a decade, I've been loving on all the Big Agnes products that I take with me on the river and in the canyons for the orientation courses I teach at Colorado Mountain College. As an instructor, it is important and a priority for me to show students the highest quality gear available to them in the industry and Big Agnes has always fit the bill.

We backpack and car camp during the class and I always bring a camp chair and table to help create a better camp environment for the kitchen and outdoor classroom. On a Fall 2018 courses in Dinosaur National Monument region I brought along the Soul Kitchen Table and the Skyline Chair for the ultra lux camp. I'm 6'4" tall so the bigger chair really helped support the lower back after many miles put on thought the trip. The combo of the big and small table worked perfect for laying out my teaching elements along with helping when it was kitchen time.

Really nice camping chair
Comftable, sturdy , and really easy to assemble and OK weight (always an issue, for us lightweight hikers!). My only complaint is about the bag it's stored in. The zipper can open by itself, if you got it hanging from your bag. I lost the frame once without me noticing it. but a really really great person picked it up for me!, And i got it back at the end of the hike! So just be aware on how you are carrying it on your bag.

Perfect chair for trekking
Given the fact that our days were long while trekking a month in Kanchanjunga Nepal, we took numerous rest breaks. The Skyline UL Chair & Stool came in hand while drinking copious amounts of tea…often waiting for our guide, and also if one of the tea houses was fully occupied leaving no place to sit. Easily supporting my friend who's nearly 6' 5" and 230lbs…the Skyline is not only lightweight and compact but impressively sturdy…stoked to add this to my personal gear pile.

High Comfort to Size Ratio
Use it car camping, in the shop while working on equipment, adventure motorcycling, it's too easy to bring along to not use it all over the place.

Far more comfortable than I expected given the relatively small size. It's quite supportive. I'm 6'2" and 185 lbs for reference.

Lightweight and Stable
Got two of these chairs for backpacking and are using them all the time! Hang out in the garden? Trip to the beach? Picnic? Eventually we'll take them backpacking, but I've loved that we're already getting our money's worth. Highlights: great balance between weight and stability - light enough we'll add them to our backpacking setup, but sturdy enough to be comfortable for a very tall guy. Setup is super easy. So easy that someone from a distance asked me about them upon seeing us whip them out :)

Well Worth It
This chair is great.

I bought two to use backpacking after a four-nighter during which I got tired of sitting on odd rocks and logs around camp every night. It's been two months and I haven't used them for backpacking yet. (They do seem a little heavy for longer trips where weight is a bigger concern, but the weight was clearly indicated on the product description and there is a lighter backless version if you want to drop additional weight.)

However, I have been pulling them out left and right to take to the park, the beach, friends' houses for outside get-togethers, and even my own lawn. They are durable, comfortable (I am 6' and 190 lbs), and easy to set up and break down. I have been recommending them to friends all summer.

Ace in the hole
The ultimate luxury when backpacking, and so light it's not a drag to pack in. It's so compact, we take this chair everywhere.
