Still going strong after 4 or 5 years
I have the original version of this tent. I've taken it on two week backpacking trips in the Appalachians, month long bike tours around the great lakes, over-nighters in Utah, climbing trips in Mexico, and plenty more.

In the Appalachians we crammed to full grown men and two dogs into it. I wouldn't necessarily recommend that, but it is good to know that it can be done. It is incredibly light and packable.

The only issue I ever had was a the zipper jamming up at some point. This is bound to happen eventually with how I use it though. I contacted Big Agnes and they repaired it and had it back to me within a week. Great that their customer service is so on top of things and they stand by their products.

Ultraconvenient bikepacker
Super light, easy to set up and break down. Took this fella for a month long bikepacking trip in Greece. Woke up one morning with a herd of goats inspecting the stitching, it held up. Fit like a charm on my drop bar and made little to no difference to the dynamics of my bike. It's comfortable and breathes, albeit a little cramped for a body over six feet long, with room for your panniers and a little extra. I wouldn't recommend actually trying to fit two people in this tent, human and a dog tops, but a great UL shelter nonetheless. Looks good, too.

Perfect Bikepack update for an already great tent
I have used the Fly Creek series for years. On and off the bike the original tent performed great. The largest benefit for me on the bikepack specific update is the shorter collapsed size. I usually am riding with drop bars so space on my handlebars is at a premium. This also makes the tent much easier to throw in a backpack depending on your packing style. Do not overlook this tent if you are not taking it on your bike. Now that I have lived with the larger gear shelf and a footprint that covers the vestibule I wont go back. Near perfection. Good work BA.

A Must Have for Bikers!!!
This tent is amazing!!! It came with me on my 11,000 bicycle tour around the US perimeter. My favorite part of the tent is the smaller tent pole size. They fit perfectly between my drop bar handlebars. They would also fit in panniers very well too!

I also like the footprint design.. it extends into the vestibule making that area my little "foyer" into the tent. I used the UL2 by myself and had a good amount of space. I am a bigger guy- 6' and 210lbs so it was a good balance between space and weight. No issues with waterproofness. It repelled water just fine.

5/5 would recommend this tent to anyone, especially bikers.

Go to Fly Creek
We definitely appreciated the updates on this already classic lightweight tent. Took it to the desert on a recent spring bikeacking trip where we had hot and cold, rain and wind. Fly was solid and we stayed dry in a few bug down pours. The extra storage pockets are awesome. The extended floor print is a bonus. We joked that it was our "front deck." Either way it helps keep sand and debris out of the tent. Appreciate the new zipper design on the door which makes entry and exit less cumbersome with a dual zipper. We used the tent in connection with the new SLX tent floor pad. One of us carried the tent and the other carried the pad. If looking for lightweight, fast and sturdy this is a great tent and Id recommend it with the pad. Tent come-on bag set up to easily affix to your bars. We were carrying our whole sleeping systems upfront so just packed the tend bag into a larger dry bag system. The carrying bag is a nice option for a quick sub 24 or even a day ramble where you want a shelter... or if you load your bike differently.

A thoughtful, well built tent!
I used this tent on a 6 day GDMTBR ride from Wyoming to New Mexico through Colorado. It was easy to set up and comfortable. The rain fly in conjunction with the footprint provides good space to store things out of the elements while sleeping. The storage on the inside is well thought out and really help to keep me organized. In retrospect I would go with the smaller version to save some space and weight, but I'm one that prefers to be comfortable so the space was great on this trip even though it came with a weight penalty.

Perfect for one. Still really good for two.
Entry is a little tight for two people but I knew that going into this purchase. I could have bought the Copper Spur if I needed side entry. Other than that this tent is perfect. Shortened pole sections make this better for a backpack and for bike packing.
