Description: K2 Annex 98 Skis

The backcountry powder hound will love the performance and versatility of the K2 Annex 98 Skis. However, this is also a great option for the intermediate to advanced all mountain skier. All Terrain Rocker and a perfect waist width allow the ski to suck up bumps, initiate beautiful arcs, and plain in powder. It has a predictable turn due to the rocker and slight taper in the tip. The modest flair on the box tail maintains power in the turn and ease of exit. The core is a combination of wood and layers of metal laminate which give it sturdy performance. The K2 Annex 98 is a reliable ski that is a jack of all trades.

Key Features of K2 Annex 98 Skis:

  • Core: Aspen/Paulownia/Maple
  • Construction: Metal Laminate
  • Hybritech Sidewall
  • Dimensions: 131/98/119

Love the skis!
My fiancé loves the skis! The first day he had them on the mountain, he got 3 or 4 compliments on them which was an added bonus!

what was the model year on these skis?
A shopper on May 9, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I think I researched this on K2 site and this was the model introduced In 2014 or 15. You can still buy these new. My 17 yo son loves these 98 width XTI skis. This model was recommended from expert skiing friend that lives at Keystone, Co. My son wishes he bought one size shorter than recommended (in length not width). My wife and son demo skis. My wife is trying to find a pair of K2 Potion skis. She loves this model but not the last 2 new K2 ski models. Most ski companies change their ski models every year. But, get ones that you demo and like! New & different models may not be better than older models. It's a personal preference. But great all terrain, all Mtn skis!
Do these skis come with bindings?
