Finely got to ride this board in Jackson Hole on groomed and ungroomed trails. It handles awesome for an all mountain board. Being 166 it’s a bit long for moguls if you’re into those. For the powder that I was able to find and ride this board carves and keeps you in control. This is what I bought it for. Thanks Nitro for keeping the Shadow Series shape in this jewel.

FAST, stable board
6'5" 185lbs, Size 10 boots. Union Falcor Bindings. I have a 160 Neversummer Proto Type Two but really wanted to get my hands on a longer traditional cambered board. Saw the Pantera and looked incredible, not many reviews on it but decided to go for it and I'm glad I did! I went with 169 Wide. Took it out to the slopes and the thinner mid section was noticeable as i didn't have a terrible time transitioning from a rocker as I did the first time I tried a traditional camber. I felt amazingly confident on this board going over moguls, through chunder, and just bombing down the mountain averaging 5mph faster than my other board. This board WANTS to go fast, it gets there quick, AND the extra width/length lets you do so comfortably.

I had debated on the 165W and even second guessed my purchase but I'm glad I went with the 169W. I started on a 155, then 160, then this. 5cm really isn't noticeable. If you're progressing into intermediate/advanced bombing down the mountain go long, go wide. I swap to my shorter board if I'm teaching my friends how to board, but this is my go to now.

The ONLY downside...this thing soaks up fingerprints like nobody's business. haha
