Description: Morrow Fury Wide Snowboard

The Morrow Fury Wide Snowboard has a pretty accurate name, assuming the word fury brings visions of performance level speed to mind. With a 100% wood full-length performance core, the ride is smooth and responsive. To take advantage of this easy ride, this is combined with a 1000-grade extruded die-cut base made for speed. Of course the directional shape is good for freestyle and freeride performance, but the Fury is also well suited for all-mountain terrain by entry level riders as well.

Key Features of the Morrow Fury Wide Snowboard:
  • Morr-Rock Rocker profile for ease in landing tricks
  • Directional shape for both freestyle and freeride performance
  • 360 degree Structural cap provides strength and responsiveness
  • 360 degree Edge protection, the strongest edge around
  • Full-length Performance Core for a smooth, responsive ride
  • 1000-Grade extruded die-cut base goes fast and tunes faster
  • Radial Sidecut for consistent and smooth turns
  • Stiffer tail flex providing stability and support for larger riders
  • Mirror finish UV Protect coating

As a 6'8" guy in the 250-pound range, I needed a wide board for my feet and a bit longer than normal board. This is not my dream board, but it's close 'cause I can afford it so I will have a snowboard to use so I can take my kids out to play.

are these good boards because I'm looking for a new board?
casey h on Jan 29, 2014
BEST ANSWER: This board is a great choice for someone who is tall and needs an extra wide board. Carves great, stable, I don't hit the terrain park so I can't vouch for it there. But if your looking for an overall solid board this will serve you well. I hit blue and black diamonds regularly with not much trouble (and I'm only an intermediate boarder I would say).
Hello, I am 6'3, 195lbs, would this Morrow Fury Wide be OK for me?
Luc A on Jun 26, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Strong downhill in powder, it's definitely a snow plow though. Had tons of fun on powder days and floated just fine. On the other hand not as manueverable in spring conditions. Great for powder, downhill speedbombing, and did fine on ice. Hope this helps
I've been snow boarding for about 3 years now and I want to get into a new board as I've slightly out grown mine both in size and experience but I don't want to spend a fortune on one either I'm riding on an older 24/7 board right now and its great for what I like to do mainly free riding and cruizing around but also being able to get some air as well would this be a good upgrade?
A shopper on Aug 19, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I've only had this board 1 season. So I can't voice for it much. But I definitely like the upgrade from the old k2 board I had. Sounds like you ride similar to myself and it's just a good all around board. Really nothing too bad about it. I'm not sure if it has a soft top coat or something but mine has lots of little chips in it. Not sure if it's just soft or if I do something that causes it or if it rubbed up against something while riding in the car. I like the action of the board as well. A nice medium flex. I'm not very skilled and I'm not very knowledgeable.
I wear a size 13 boot. Will this board be wide enough?

The Morrow Fury Wide Snowboard has a waist width of 26.6cm, I'd say yes, you could ride the board with no problems.
what does "base color may vary" mean? I'm buying bindings now too and I don't want them to look stupid together.
A shopper on Dec 27, 2014
This is a thing with every snowboard company. The manufacturers (in this case Morrow) will vary the base of snowboards to conserve material and money. It will be a variation of the colors you see in the picture, but may be opposite. I looked at it seems the ones we have do match this picture though. Explanation:
what does "base color may vary" mean? I'm also buying bindings now and I want them to not look stupid together.

BEST ANSWER: The "Base Color May Vary" statement does not apply to this Morrow Fury Snowboard.
