Sick for All Mountain, Groomers and Icy East Coast Conditions
Had this board for 2 years, and I love it's ability to adapt to almost any condition. Board is designed to handle on ice and it does it very well. I can hit huge kickers and the board is stiff enough to handle it but flexible enough to be a lot of fun in the park also. Did I mention how sick the graphics are? Definitely not a powder board though.....the ends of the board extend out past the interior wood core and exterior of board tip is sealed. Very nice attention to detail on this's niiiice!

Does the Gnu metal guru come with the classic binding layout or do you have to buy transitions for your old bindings ?
A shopper on Oct 18, 2013
BEST ANSWER: The GNU Metal Guru EC2BTX Snowboard utilizes a standard (4x2) hole pattern. Older bindings will work just fine.
What's better for an intermediate rider this or the carbon credit, looking to rip up all parts of the mountain and I want one board to do it all?
Colin C on May 18, 2015

Both decks will ride great all over the mountain. The Carbon Credit will feel a little more surfy because of the BTX profile shape and the MEtal Guru will be a little more stable because of the ECSBXT profile shape.
I'm 6' and 190lb (+/- 5), is the 162 the right size for me? I'm still a newish rider looking to do mostly Colorado resort trails, groomers, and powder days.
Max A on Nov 21, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Hey Max - sounds like the 162 would work great for you and the type of riding you're going to be doing!
Im trying to learn park right now, but I love flying down the mountain. I live in colorado so we see a lot of powder. How does this board do in powder?
kris k on Oct 30, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Hello, the Gnu with BTX will be ideal for powder, as it adds more points of contact with the ground. very smooth ride.
