Bad ass board!
2nd Skunk Ape I’ve owned. This one is so much lighter with the BMW bindings. Will have a 3rd if they keep making them.

When ordering through you guys boards don't come tuned, waxed and ready to go do they?
A shopper on Oct 20, 2019
BEST ANSWER: The Lib Tech Skunk Ape HP Wide Snowboard comes with a factory wax that is more for storage to keep the base from drying out. A hot iron wax is suggested after purchasing new boards. The edges will come with a factory tune. I hope that helps!
I am 6’25 185lbs and boot size 11. What length suits better 157W or 161W?

Is there anything different this year 2020 then the 2019?
A shopper on Aug 17, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Hello, it looks like the only thing that changed between the model years of 2019-2020 is the top sheet is a different material. as well as a new graphic. Hope this helps.
I’m 5’11 265lbs and 13 shoe and own a Skunk Ape 180 that I got when I was at 315lbs. Wan to size down would you suggest the SA 165 or the SA 170 Ultra wide?
Mookie on Mar 28, 2020
BEST ANSWER: I'm 6'1", 280lbs and I ride a skunk ape 161. To me, anything larger than that seems a bit unnecessary.
Im 230lbs 6'2" and size 12 boot. Should i go 165w?
A shopper on Dec 7, 2019
BEST ANSWER: The Lib Tech Skunk Ape HP Wide Snowboard is an awesome choice. Based on what you've shared the 165w would be a perfect fit!
I am 225lbs and have size 14 boots. I am looking at the skunk ape. Would you recommend 165 Wide or the 170 Ultra Wide?
A shopper on Dec 4, 2019
I'm 5'11 180lbs and wear a 10.5 US boot. Would I be able to easily turn and adjust this board at high speeds at my size?
AARON C on Sep 30, 2019
BEST ANSWER: The extra width will provide more power when carving as well as increased stability at speed, but the board will be less maneuverable and carving will require more effort. At 10.5 boot size a wide board is not required for most models such as the Skunk Ape, a regular width board may be a better fit.
Any recommendations on bindings?
All mountain free riding, not much park.
A shopper on Sep 22, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Hello, for something like this i would recommend going with a Medium/ stiff flexing binding like a Union Force. By going with a binding like that it will allow for the board to be responsive and allow you to really dig in on carves. Hope this helps

Hello. My son is 6'4" and weighs 220 pounds. Size 14/15 shoe. I am trying to decide between the Skunk ape Wide or the Ultra Wide? He is an intermediate boarder... goes to the Rockies once a year... but primarily goes to Spirit Mountain in Duluth. Thanks for any help.
