I'm 5'9 about 175lbs. will a size 9.5 boot work well on the 160 MW? Would there be much difference in the 157? width difference between the two doesn't seem much.

You're right, the width difference isn't much. I'd personally go with the 157cm for someone your size. You technically do fit on the 160MW, but I feel like it is bigger than necessary.
