Good price on maybe the only production big mt. splitboard that fits my US 9.5 feet AND is 167 for great float (most are 159 to 162). Not my dream board, but pretty close for hundreds less. I will probably use spare Karakoram clips I already have instead of Voile locks.

What does the board come with? If I already have boots what is the least amount of more money I would have to spend on the rest of the gear??

BEST ANSWER: You just get a board with the standard hardware that locks it together (voile locks), which you can actually swap out with different clips. I actually like to use the karakoram clips.

If you can look for used splitboard bindings, that's one option, but brand new bindings can be upwards of $300 depending on what you're looking for. Then add on the skins and you'll be likely spending another $300-500 on top of the board. That's exactly the reason why I bought this board because of the price point and it's actually a bomber board. I own both solid and split versions of the XV.
This says mounting plates included. Does that mean I don't need a separate voile binding kit?

BEST ANSWER: It is just the board. Not sure what a "mounting plate" is? It just has predrilled holes for your pucks. You will need pucks and bindings from a splitboard company (voile, spark, karokoram). I went with the Spark R&D pucks and bindings and I'm happy with the setup. -Brian in Colorado
