Awesome board
The Climax is extremely light, which was instantly noticeable on the slopes and on the lift.
Compared to my other boards, another libtech and 2 from other brands, I noticed that this board is much faster and easier to get through flat portions of trails. Avoid tree runs with this board. Great for carving.

It's a fantastic board...you'll want to own it. But here's some pointers to help you decide if you need this board. Not for beginners or some intermediate riders. Climax is not the right fit for you if you counter-twist before each turn or throw in a snow plow after every 5 carves. Also not the right fit for you if you can't slow down by throwing in some carves prior to braking or can't get through flats without clipping an edge. There's a lot of speed with this board.

Overall, it's a great board and quick edge to edge. Gotta have the right set up for this board; stiff boots and stiff bindings. You cannot pair middle of the road boots/bindings with the Climax. My Climax felt good turning edge to edge on wide carves and also easy on quick rhythmic turns. Positioned the front edge of the binding as close to the toe edge as possible to make it easier for toe turns. Board rides and floats like a dream when paired with stiff bindings and boots.
Rode with Trident boots and X-Base bindings. Haven't tried the bent metal carbon bindings.

The board absorbs vibrations well, cuts through chop. floats awesome.
