A Must Have!
This truly is a big guy’s dream board. I am 6ft 280 lbs with a size 13 foot and this stick is purpose built for someone like me. Mervin Manufacturing hands-down is the best manufacturer in the snowboarding community. They are known for bomb proof boards and hand build every single snowboard in Washington state and their product is 100% made in the USA and they deploy very sustainable manufacturing practices. This board is medium flex and rides very playful, which is a welcome departure from the super long and super stiff snowboard options for big riders. Not only does this board handle amazing in the powder, but with Magne Traction it is the best board in my arsenal for fresh groomers and hard pack icy conditions. This board truly is a Swiss Army Knife and will quickly become a stand out in your collection. Do yourself a favor and buy this board. This is my first Lib Tech and certainly won’t be the last. Very impressed.

I'm 210 lbs and 6.1 With 11.5 boot. I'm wondering if the 161cm is a good pick for me? or should I go lower? I still do a little park as well, is this not ideal for park? I'll be using it as a resort board mixed with a bit of park? not necessarily deep powder being from Minnesota.

BEST ANSWER: I’m 250 lbs size 10 boot. Great for groomers Great in powder I went with smaller one and it’s still a lot of board. Not great for riding switch. Really stable landing jumps. Wouldn’t be my first choice for spending time in the park
6’3” 270 lbs with a 13 burton boot. Would the 162 be the best for me? or is there something else that would work better for me?

BEST ANSWER: Hello Todd G., I would recommend going with the 161W, Hope this helps.
I’m 6’4” and 235lbs with a size 14/15 boot. Will the 157 or 162 work given my size?

BEST ANSWER: The Lib Tech Stump Ape Wide at 162 would be a decent option at your size for all mountain riding. Wide models at 160+ for length will be a good starting point, for Freeride and Powder conditions up to around 166/168cm.
