Ultimate Deep Pow Skunk Charger!
Rode this beast for the first time today at Baker with 12" of classic cascade concrete (in the rain). I have been charging on normal skunks for years now, they rip, but this is the ultimate for deeper pow! I rode the Jamie mayhem, love that board also. But this rides like a longer board with good edge hold on hard pack, stable at high speeds and has a little more tail for good pop. I am hard pressed to change away from my skunk ape, but this will be my go to for deep days without worrying about riding groomer hard pack from out of bound missions.

Quite possibly the best board I’ve ever ridden!!!
Rode this beast last weekend in the Dirksen Derby. I’m not sure what was more fun, high speed arcing turns in the race or surfing pow stashes later in the day! I will always have one of these decks! Thanks Uncle Mervin!

My new favorite board.
I am 6 foot 6, 215 lb. I've been snowboarding since 1989. I've been riding the skunk ape for the last 4 years. I thought nothing could replace the Skunk Ape, but I was wrong. My first day on the Stump Ape was in Mammoth during a stormy weekend with three feet of snow. My mind was blown. It has the float of a 170 and the quickness of a 150. It's super quick and technical in the trees. I never got bogged down in the deep snow. I'm 100% sold on this board. I haven't rode anything else since I bought it. This is the future.

Amazing Short Board for Ogres with Big Feet
Finally got to test my Stump Ape for the first time in deep powder and all I can say is that it was amazing. I could whip around and between trees and float on powder with ease. It even carved pretty good while on the groomers and had no toe drag even with my 13.5 boots. If you are a big dude that wants to join the short board revolution, this is your board. Thank you Lib Tech/Mervin for making such amazing boards, especially for us large individuals with big ole feet.
